Why is it that Coffee tastes so much better when you order one from a shop and someone else makes it for you? Is it just the fact that your not doing the physical work or does it truly taste that much better? I'm constantly finding myself wonder whether that $4.00 coffee really does taste better or am I just that lazy. And I've finally come to the realization that it really does taste better when made by someone else. I mean anything that is made for you taste better, am I right??
If your like me then you too must have a cup of coffee every morning to wake up before you can function. If for some reason I'm running late, I have to stop and take a break and make sure I get some coffee in me before I can continue with my day. Now luckily I'm not too cranky when I do not get my morning brew but do not dare ask me any kind of absurd questions because you will be receiving my lovely death stare and who wants that during the bright and early hours of the day.
My go-to coffee choice is an iced coffee, large obviously, skim milk and one Raw Sugar. If I'm trying to be good I'll switch to Spleneda to give it a slight sweeter taste. Honestly, it taste the same to me as sugar. So, why waste the calories??? The place I prefer to grab a cup from has to be local coffee shops where they brew their own and truly take pride in their coffee. Shout out to the Kookaburra in Saint Augustine for doing just this and make my day better with a simple cup of coffee. Now do not get me wrong if I'm not able to make it to a local one, I'll of course head to a Starbucks or Dunkin Doughnuts just to get my coffee "fix" in for the day. And if I have time before leaving my house and I'll use my amazing Keurig, that makes a cup of coffee in under 2 minutes!
Recently I discovered a new creamer too and its especially great for people who do not drink milk or are trying to cut out dairy because its made with coconut milk! It's called So Delicious French Vanilla and if have not tired it, you must!
So all you coffee drinkers keep up the good work and never give up the good old cup of joe!
