I absolutely love Autumn, and I know many others do as well. I bet we can all agree on a few reasons why we love this cozy season so much. Here's a list of a few things that bring on autumn nostalgia.

1. You're not going to die of heatstroke from wearing your cute sweater weather clothes.

Let's face it, sometimes in the summer we look at really cute clothes that we have, but it's way too hot to wear any of them.

It's finally time to bring all of your cute cozy clothes out of hiding without feeling like you're going to die.

2. Halloween hype.

I love love love Halloween. I love the decorations, the costumes, the excuse to buy a big bag of candy knowing I'm not getting it to pass out, the movies, the scary vibe, it's honestly just great.

Everyone is so excited, and it's lit.

3. It's time to bring out the warm scented candles and wax burner cubes.

I love summer and fruity scents just as much as the next person, but I am so ready to smell pumpkin pie in the air, cinnamon and vanilla engulfing me in euphoria.

It's time to not only feel cozy with warm clothes but it's time to fill the air with warmth and coziness. Stock up and enjoy.

Plus, who doesn't enjoy buying new candles and wax cubes?

4. Two words... unhealthy apples.

This is one of my favorite things about Autumn. I absolutely love those sticky and messy caramel and candy apples. I've waited all year long to see these delicious sugary delights in stores everywhere.

5. Pumpkin picking is at its peak.

Let's be real here, without pumpkins, what would Autumn be?

There's nothing more exciting than going to pick out your very own pumpkin whether it is grabbing one at the store or going to a pumpkin patch.

My personal favorite is carving faces into pumpkins and taking all the guts out and cooking pumpkin seeds.

Of course, not everyone likes to get their hands covered in guts, but there are always other ways to decorate a pumpkin.

Autumn wouldn't feel like Autumn without pumpkins

6. It's time to get out those cute autumn decorations.

Corn stalks, leaf wreaths, barrels of hay, bring it on! I'm so ready to decorate for the season.

7. You can finally make all those dessert recipes you found.

It's about time. Desserts, desserts and more desserts.

Experiment in the kitchen!

8. Apple frickin' cider.

Finally, I can go in stores and there are a variety of different apple ciders — including treats! Ofcourse I didn't forget the apple cider donuts! I can't wait to stuff my face and top it off with a sip of Autumn.

9. Haunted houses and all things spooky.

The thrill is very much alive. Haunted houses that will terrify you, really creepy decorations and costumes. I'm ready for a scary rush!

10. Halloween movies taking over television.

My absolute favorite thing about Autumn is that so many TV stations play Halloween movies all season long. I'm ready to watch "Hocus Pocus," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "The Addams Family" and for all of the other wonderful Halloween movies to return!

11. Ah, cozy days.

Now that the chilly weather is rolling around, I can relax in the house with coffee, apple cider, or any hot drink, and watch movies or do whatever and feel completely content. It's so nice to lay in nice soft warm blankets and clothes. I'm so ready.

12. You won't be melting anymore when you want to cook hot meals.

Hot weather is nice, and it's nice to sit poolside or go to the beach but sometimes the heat is too much.

I prefer not to wake up in a pile of sweat or have trouble falling asleep because it's so humid, even though I have a fan.

It's easier to go for walks when you don't feel like you're melting.

13. Beautiful scenery means Instagram worthy nature photography.

Ah yes, 'tis the season to begin taking scenery photos. Even if you're not good at picture taking, in Autumn, it's hard to completely mess up a shot.

14. Pumpkin spice is everywhere.

The lovely flavor that everyone loves so much will finally return to greet us, and we will all take advantage of the opportunity to get a hot pumpkin spice coffee from our favorite coffee shops.

Make sure to get in on the action of pumpkin spice everything because it'll be gone before you know it.

15. A lot of your favorite TV shows are back.

You've waited almost a year for a lot of your favorite shows to come back on whether it be "Criminal Minds," "Shameless," "The Walking Dead" or "Empire" etc. They have finally returned so you no longer need to watch old re-runs to keep the spirit alive.

16. The crisp air that makes you feel warm inside is back.

I don't know if it's just me but the air feels so much nicer in Autumn. I love the cooler weather that isn't too cold and the nice breeze and smell of leaves.

It's times like these I cherish.

17. You don't have to feel guilty about not leaving going outside.

Oh yes, You no longer have to feel guilty about staying in the house when it's a nice summer day even though everyone is outside, and they want to do things. You can relax without feeling guilty about missing the warmth outside.

18. College football season.

Touchdown! I've waited since last season to go to college games.

Of course, I had to use my college's field as an example (Alfred University) because it's so beautiful to be out here around this time. I'm surrounded by beautiful scenery, and school spirit is raging.

It might be a little cold sitting outside for so long, but none of that matters when you're in the moment with your friends enjoying the game and cheering for your team.

19. Leaves, leaves and more leaves.

The most noticeable thing about Autumn is, of course, the fact that leaves are everywhere. I don't know about you, but I personally love to go around crunching leaves underneath my shoes.

The leaves make for really nice photography shots as well. The colors are so warm and vibrant it's hard not to stare in awe.

And of course everyone likes to rake up leaves and have them get stuck on the rake so you have to rip them off of it yourself.

But on the plus side, kids, and even adults, love jumping in a pile of leaves. It's also an easy way to hide from someone you're trying to avoid.

20. You no longer look crazy drinking coffee in the middle of the day when it's 85 degrees out.

Last, but not least, you can drink all the hot coffee you want whenever you want because you don't feel like all of your beverages need to be cold. Bring on the coffee.

Get ready because Autumn will soon be upon us! Get in the season spirit and enjoy it as much as you can.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
