Attention All Makeup Connoisseurs And Beauty Enthusiasts!

A new secret to beautiful skin has been revealed! A fresh makeup collaboration featuring YouTube blogger and makeup artist Jaclyn Hill and BECCA Cosmetics has been the talk of the online beauty community lately. Jaclyn is known on YouTube for her skilled makeup artistry and her luminous glowing skin. She keeps no secrets — the key to her effortless glow is BECCA’s pressed, shimmering Skin Perfector line. When Jaclyn was offered the opportunity to collaborate with BECCA, she wanted to create a new shimmering skin perfecter that is universally flattering for all skin tones. This led her to the creation of Champagne Pop. Champagne Pop is available exclusively online through Sephora until July 16 and will be sold in stores for a limited time. Keep reading to learn more about the product below!

What is Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector?
Champagne Pop is a highlight shade that can be applied to the high points of the face to create a dewy sheen. The shade is described on the Sephora website as a soft white gold with peachy pink undertones. It is light enough to work on fair skin tones, while hints of gold keep it suitable for deeper skin tones as well.

Pictured above is Jaclyn’s sister, Rachel, wearing the shade Champagne Pop. While designing the shade, Jaclyn said she kept her sister’s fairer complexion in mind. When she tested the final shade on Rachel, she knew this was the finished product.

More about Jaclyn Hill and Becca Cosmetics:
Jaclyn Hill is a 25-year-old makeup artist and YouTube beauty blogger based out of Florida. She created her YouTube channel back in 2010 and has gained over two million subscribers in the past five years. She also has more than a million followers on Instagram. Regardless of the fame she has gained, she has stayed extremely down to earth and so appreciative of her subscribers.

According to the BECCA Cosmetics website, "the whole philosophy of BECCA is about creating a natural, flawless look. It's really about skin looking amazing — everything else is secondary." Becca believes a flawless look is essential to any type of makeup look and that begins with enhancing natural beauty. The pressed shimmering skin perfecters are designed to compliment natural features.

How to apply Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector:

A fan shaped brush is the best tool for sweeping the product across the high points of the cheekbones, brow bones, the bridge of the nose, inner corners of the eyes, the cupid's bow right above the top lip and at the bottom of the lower lip. An affordable and good quality fan brush is offered by Eco Tools and is sold at most drugstores for $6.99. Use a light hand while applying this product; it is very pigmented, but buildable, in intensity. The picture below indicates with white lines where highlight should be placed, the pink lines are blush, and bronzer application is brown. If you choose to use this product with blush and bronzer, make to sure to apply the highlight as a last step so other products do not cover the intensity of the highlight.

If you are interested in this product do not hesitate to purchase it because it will only be around for a limited time. The popularity has caused it to sell fast so get to Sephora quick! Check out Jaclyn’s YouTube channel to see her rave about the product in her June Favorites below. After watching one of her videos you will want to view the rest. Congratulations, Jaclyn, on this amazing collaboration!

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
