As a student here for almost three years, I have noticed some common questions that seem to come up when I mention that I attend The University of Nevada, Reno. "What is UNR? "Do you like it?" "Tell me everything!" So, I decided to compile a list so I can show inhabitants and their fascination and curiosity of my university, and give them a little taste into what it means to attend The University of Nevada, Reno. So with that, what does it mean to attend here? How do you know you attended here?
1. Students correct UNR to Nevada.

*Stay tuned for a comment below that says, "It's Nevada"*
2. Construction on campus has become our new Mascot.

3. So much construction, that we have to create a new route to class every single day.

4."Keep the cannon blue" and "FUNLV" are serious ordeals to follow.

5. We say Wolf Pack, they say Rebels.

6. We have our own four seasons: Bipolar, spring, winter in July and winter.

7. You can take a day trip to Lake Tahoe, or Mt. Rose.

8. You get mistaken as a lost high school student when the campus tours are around.
Oh, is that just me? All right. Never mind then.
9. The "DC shits" are a tragic course of events.

10. You never gained the "freshmen 15" because the campus is a campus of hills and stairs.

11. We have three Mascots, not just one.

12. You are right down the road from the Rodeo, Street Vibrations, hot air balloon races, air races, Rib Cook-Off, Artown and many other festivals.
And you will go many more times. Even Dawn Patrol.
13. It is tradition to give up something to Mackay.
14. UNR? That university Colin Kaepernick used to attend?
15. You people watch in the Quad.
Don't lie, we have all done it. And probably posted a Yak or two about it as well. Shout out to the guy that always brings his hammock to the Quad. You know exactly how to college.
16. You have posted as least one Instagram picture bragging about how awesome campus is.

17. You call it home.
After all, home means Nevada.
