There's no denying that majority of us have the winter blues. The cold, snowy climate has left everyone itching for some summer fun.
It's that time of year to start making your summer bucket list with The Firefly Music Festival at the top. This June, the festival will be celebrating it's fourth birthday with A-1 musicians at the Woodlands in Dover Delaware.
Firefly 2016 is right around the corner and if you haven't bought your ticket, here's 10 reasons why you need to, like right now.
1. The Lineup
The anticipation starts when the list is posted in the fall. Just look at the talent going to the Woodlands this summer!
2. The camping
This isn't your typical father-son camping trip. (This isn't even half of it).
3. Front Row
Being front row at a concert allows you to brag to your friends that missed out. But, can you imagine being up close for Blink 182, Fetty Wap and The Neighbourhood all in one weekend? You will have bragging rights for years to come.
4. The pavilion
The Pavilion is strictly EDM. The motto here, "Eat. Sleep. Rave. Repeat."5. The people
Don't be afraid to be friendly and dress your best.
6. The headliner
In 2015, Paul McCartney took the Main Stage Friday night as the most anticipated event. It was a dream come true for fans but this year's headliner is not one to disappoint. Mumford and Sons will take the stage and the hype for their set is unreal.
7. Crowd surfing
Get on someone's shoulders. Go with the flow. Enjoy the view.
8. Attractions
The nooks and crannies that make Firefly one of a kind. The Market is located in the middle of the madness full of unique boutiques while the Thicket hosts a silent rave. But after a long day, a nap in the Hammock Hangout is much needed.
9. Main Stage
When the sun goes down, Main Stage lights up. Thousands of people beside you singing along, the night life is unbelievably magical.
10. Good vibes
Firefly is a different experience for all but one goal stays the same: to have an insanely wild weekend. Nothing beats four days of singing, dancing and listening to the world's best music, especially when you can spend it with your best friends.
