If this past week was a survival challenge, I was very close to throwing up my surrender flag.
All right, that may be a little dramatic but come on. College is hard. Everyday, you get tossed with something new and you are just expected to know how to do it. You're thrown into every little direction, and over time it becomes exhausting.
This past week it felt like everything was being thrown at me at once. Classes all of sudden doubled up on homework, introduced projects and had pop quizzes making me want to run out the back door.
Time management is my best friend at college. If I didn't have it, I probably would've been waving that surrender flag a long time ago. It’s a necessity to find time to do other things than just occupy your time studying.
College is where you have to push yourself day in and day out. It does so by testing your abilities in so many ways. I believe it's supposed to push your buttons once and awhile because, in the end, you are going to come out of every week stronger ready to conquer the next.
After a week of stressing, it is worthwhile because this week is Thanksgiving Break; a nice long break before finals begin.
My advice is that everyone is going through the same thing, so you kinda have to suck it up. If you need help, there are endless amounts of ways for you to get help so take advantage of it. Also, it's never bad to have study groups, or ask your professor for help.
