Welcome to the second segment of "Meet The Reporter."
Our team of writers at ASU Odyssey will be writing monthly "Meet The Reporters" as an effort to make things fun for our readers and let you get to know us!
In all honesty, I can't explain why I chose ASU other than I just had a gut feeling that I was supposed to be here, and so far as a current sophomore I know I made the right decision. If anything, going to W. P. Carey solidified my decision even further when I started being a student at ASU fall of 2018. It's all had its ups and downs as life normally does, but I know that given the opportunity I wouldn't go anywhere else.
For why I chose to be a business communication major, I knew I always wanted to do business because it always fascinated me, but discovering communication was something I hadn't thought of before declaring that as my concentration. I'm not a math guy or a data computer guy by any means. I guess I could say deciding on business communication was a gut feeling as well. With my communication classes, I'd say they have been some of my favorite classes thus far and I'm eager to take more in the next semesters to come. I did find it fascinating how ASU even had a business communication major, seeing that a lot of the other schools didn't have business communication offered, which I guess that's a perk of going to the #1 school in innovation, am I right?
