Astrology Has Something Special Planned For Your Summer Based On Your Zodiac Sign

There are 12 zodiac signs, and within each sign are the individual’s strengths, weaknesses, traits, desires and their attitude toward life and people. Your zodiac sign is based on the date and month you were born. It’s said that astrology can give us a sneak peek into a person judging from the day and month they were born.

Each element of the 12 horoscopes represent the type of energy a person gives off. Each horoscope sign belongs to one of the four elements: air, fire, water and earth. These elements represent an essential type of energy that acts in each of us. These zodiac elements display the influence on basic character traits, emotions, behavior and thinking of a person based on their sign.

Based on research done by myself and my observations based on individuals I know from each zodiac sign, here’s a brief summary of each sign and my summer advice and prediction for them!

Disclaimer: This is just for fun, and by no means 100 percent accurate or to be taken too seriously.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Traits: Energetic, competitive, upbeat, social, honest

Strengths: Brave, confident, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, optimistic, passionate

Weaknesses: Impatient, has an attitude, short-tempered, impulsive at times, aggressive, bossy

Summer prediction: Sometimes your competitive nature can intimidate others and people may not get to see the real you. This summer, I challenge you to open up to others and show them who you really are. Slow down, give others a chance. This summer, you’re going to meet someone incredible, but they’re someone you’d normally never give the time of day to. So, open your eyes and open your heart, be adventurous but also take a step back and appreciate the things surrounding you—you might even already know this person. Balance is the key to happiness and don’t force yourself to do anything over your limits this summer.

Taurus (April 20- May 20)

Traits: Powerful, sensual, physical, creative, dependable

Strengths: Reliable, patient, devoted, responsible, working with hands

Weaknesses: Stubborn, possessive, uncompromising, jealous

Summer prediction: You’ve been focusing a lot of your energy into someone or something else when you need to be a little selfish. Naturally, you’re a great friend and an even better lover, but your selfless character can often leave you drained. This summer, keep your friends and lover close, but give yourself some more “me time.” You deserve it, Taurus. Do something for you. There have been some bumps in the road this summer—maybe concerning a family member or close friend and you may feel like you’re acting as a caregiver. You’ve been wearing your heart on your sleeve, so your loved ones get the chance to avoid being hurt, but you might be hurting yourself in the long run. Take a break this summer, focus on you, and it just might be the most refreshing and relaxing one yet!

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Traits: Gentle, social, artistic

Strengths: Affectionate, open-minded, adaptable, ability to learn quickly and exchange ideas

Weaknesses: Nervous, inconsistent, indecisive, restless

Summer prediction: Quit being afraid of being alone, Gemini! Repetition and routine are a part of life, and although they’re predictable and a little boring, it’s normal. You hate being tied down and feeling confined to certain things and people, but this summer, someone unexpected is going to reel you in and hook you hard. You seem to have someone in your life present only to inhibit your attempts and make you feel tied down when you’d rather fly away. You might be surprised by the beauty of the place in which you’ll end up if you keep this person around instead of pushing them away. This might be the summer to settle down and stop being so afraid of getting hurt; it could be something beautiful if you let it.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Traits: Intuitive, sensitive, emotional, family-oriented, determined

Strengths: Imaginative, loyal, persuasive, selfless, caring

Weaknesses: Moody, negative-attitude, suspicious, manipulative, insecure, jealous

Summer prediction: You will struggle financially during the beginning of this summer—you’ve never been too good with money, it usually comes as quickly as it goes with you because of your selfless nature. Stop showering your loved ones with gifts as a display of affection. They know how much you love them. It can be hard since you’re a generous person, but you need to put your own needs and happiness first this summer. As for love, if you’re not already taken, stop looking! The best things come when you least expect it. However, expect a big change in the late months of the summer like a big move, a new job opportunity or the chance of a lifetime. It’s time your good karma came around to reward you.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Traits: Cheerful, loved, admired, a love for finer things, leadership

Strengths: Creative, passionate, confident, warm-hearted, humorous

Weaknesses: Arrogant, stubborn, self-centered, lazy, unwilling to compromise

Summer prediction: This is your summer, Leo, so expect big things! You’ve recently made some kind of lifestyle change. Maybe you started a new job, moved away from home or got into a serious relationship, but don’t lose grip of reality. Things seem to be going your way, and everything is finally falling into place for you. Love has finally found you, and you are ready to settle down and show everything you carry in your heart to someone you feel worthy — someone who treats you like the king or queen you are. Let your guard down and allow your emotions to show; compromise if you have to, it could be the make or break to your relationship. A new relationship can be exciting and surreal, but you don’t want to leave your friends in the dark either. This summer will show you who your true friends are.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

Traits: Animal lover, healthy, intellectual, goal-oriented

Strengths: Loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, down-to-earth

Weaknesses: Shyness, worrywart, critical of self and others, all work and no play

Summer prediction: Virgo, you like to be the center of the stage, but this summer, it might be time to be a member of the audience and let someone steal the show. You’ve put some goals on the back burner while you took the time to focus on something else, and hey, that’s OK., but now it’s time to regroup and work on yourself. You’ve been feeling a little stressed and like your life needs to get back in order. By fulfilling these long-term goals, a feeling of relief and peace will envelop you afterward. You might be struggling in a relationship with a lot of limitations and setbacks. If someone doesn’t understand your choices, maybe you need to make it clear that these are your choices to make. Once you’ve gotten back on track and are feeling relaxed—something or someone amazing will cross your path, but if you’re not relaxed or too self-absorbed, you will let this opportunity slip. Work hard in the beginning of the summer and play harder toward the end. Your hard work will pay off.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Traits: Gentle, indecisive, generous, seeks justice, inspirational

Strengths: Cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, fair-minded, social

Weaknesses: Hate being alone, avoids the truth, will carry a grudge, great sense of self-pity

Summer prediction: You are very family-oriented and value your loved ones and their opinions very much. This summer, your family and loved ones may have different opinions than yours, and this might upset you. You might be trying to seek their approval of someone or something new in your life. In the beginning of the summer, you may feel burnt by trying to win over the affection of someone or struggle to meet the goals you’ve set, while also trying to obtain the approval of your family, but trust your gut and follow your heart. Unresolved emotions will resurface, but don’t worry, they will be resolved before the summer is over. Your instincts will be very strong this summer, so trust what you’re feeling and go with it, especially over that big decision that might be keeping you up at night.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Traits: Passionate, distrusting, determined, mysterious

Strengths: Resourceful, brave, stubborn, a true friend

Weaknesses: Jealous, secretive, impulsive, aggressive

Summer prediction: Dedicated and surrounded by loyal friends, you are a natural born leader. This summer, you will find out who is truly there for you and who is not. This summer is yours, Scorpio. As your people skills increase, you’ll make more friends and allies, and the ones you leave behind become a distant memory. You’ve set yourself a goal, and as long as you keep your mind to it, you will accomplish everything in your path. Obstacles will melt as you walk on by. Friends, family and career will be your safe haven, and you will progress in more relationships than just the ones at home. Maybe something huge is coming your way for you and your sweetheart, or maybe this will be the summer that you’ll fall madly in love. The planets have so much positivity in store for you this summer, your good karma is finally coming forward.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

Traits: Loves to travel and be free, hates being constrained, open-minded, curious

Strengths: Selfless, idealistic, hilarious, outgoing, optimistic, enthusiastic

Weaknesses: Stubborn, detached, impatient, bored easily, hates clinginess

Summer prediction: This is going to be an amazing summer for you, Sagittarius. You’ve finally crossed a huge landmark in your life—maybe you finally landed that job you’ve been after, got that raise you worked hard for or maybe just graduated. You’re feeling good and ready to explore. You have nothing to tie you down, and you’re OK with that for now. This summer is a time for you to work hard and play harder. You’ll take a trip with friends, go to places you’ve never seen before and have the summer of a lifetime. You'll have all the resources and creativity to make the best use of everything that comes your way. However, throughout the summer, you may feel some sort of regret about someone—maybe a romance you let get away or a situation that didn’t end as planned. Don’t worry, toward the end of the summer, you’ll get that closure you’ve been wanting and a past flame will reignite. Just try to not sweep your feelings and emotions under the rug this time. I know it’s not easy but open up to them like you started to, it’ll be worth it.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

Traits: Practical, professional, independent, loves to plan things

Strengths: Problem-solver, disciplined, self-control, generous, make for good managers

Weaknesses: Know-it-all, unforgiving, stubborn, pessimistic, bossy

Summer prediction: All work and no play, Capricorn. This summer, you will let loose and give yourself the vacation and relaxing time you need. All your hard work will finally pay off this summer when you’re relaxing on the beach or throwing back a few drinks with your best friends in Mexico. It’s time to unwind and relax. As for romance, this summer is about you. In the beginning, you will be wearing your heart on your sleeve and a little unwilling to jump into something soon. Someone from your past may be working their way back into your heart for a little, but trust your instincts, Cap, is there a reason this person is a part of your past?

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

Traits: Shy and quiet, yet energetic and open-minded.

Strengths: Original, independent, opportunist, creative

Weaknesses: Afraid of trusting others, moody, selfish at times

Summer prediction: Let loose, Aquarius! Stop focusing on all the negativity and open your eyes and your heart to all the positives in your life. This summer, someone genuine or an amazing opportunity will come your way. Don’t push them or it away! Greet this person or opportunity with wide arms and welcome them into your life. Who knows, it could be a life-changing experience. Instead of feeling uncomfortable when someone expresses their feelings, I challenge you to trust your gut and instinct and believe them.

Pisces (Feb.19 - March 20)

Traits: Romantic, active, spiritual, selfless, faithful, too forgiving, naive

Strengths: Understanding, compassionate, artistic, intuitive, wise

Weaknesses: Fearful, overly trusting, depressed often, sometimes unrealistic, perceived as “weak”

Summer prediction: Pisces, you hopeless romantic, you. You might be feeling lonely lately, but in the beginning of the summer, you’ll start to make more connections and friendships that will last you not only throughout the summer, but for many, many years. You’ve been feeling intense lately—and probably holding it in. Well, don’t worry, you will feel an emotional relief soon. Use your instincts about a certain someone or about a financial situation that seems too good to be true. If you feel that it could be, then it probably is, but if you think it could be worth your while, the stars say to dive right in. If you’ve been single for a while, this is your time to put yourself back in the dating world. Your love life might have taken a back seat due to other circumstances in your life, but this summer, you’re emotionally ready to jump back into the dating game. By mid-end of the summer, you’ll find that luck you’ve been waiting for in love, money and your career. It might be time to play the lottery and good luck!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
