Ashley Freiberg, who is she?
Ashley Freiberg is a professional racecar driver for BMW of North America, a businesswoman, and a public speaker; she is strong, athletic, and only 23 years old.
Why do you need to know about her?
Freiberg is taking the motorsport scene by storm. Her impressive racing career includes being the first female racecar driver in history to win the overall North American GT3 Cup Challenge and the Continental Tire Challenge. She also is the only other female, aside from Danica Patrick, to be nominated for the Team USA Scholarship. That’s just to name a few of her career highlights.
Regardless of if you are into the fast-paced world of racecars or not, Freiberg is a fresh and positive face on the scene of young and successful women that we can learn form.

Ashley Freiberg’s Five Tips to Success for every 20-Something:
1.) Find your Passion-- When you love what you do, then you are more likely to put in the work and make sacrifices to become successful at it.
2.) Set Goals-- It's important to have a path set in your mind on how you plan to become successful. Make smaller, more immediate goals along the path to your ultimate goal so that you stay on track and stay driven.
3.) Work Hard-- If being successful at something were easy, we would all be doing it. Be ready to work your tail off...I certainly know I didn't get to where I am without blood, sweat, and tears, and I'm only at the beginning of my career! Be ready to spend those extra hours working on something that most wouldn't.
4.) Learn From People That Are Smarter Than You-- I have yet to meet someone who has achieved success all on their own. There are so many people out there who have experienced or learned things along their journey to success that you can learn from! Whether it is a teacher, coach, or mentor, surround yourself with these people. Don't be afraid to ask for help. This can speed up your learning curve and can help you make the right choices, just be sure to return the favor to them!
5.) Be Positive/ Optimistic-- There will be setbacks and detours along your path to success; don't let them bring you down! You must always have a positive outlook on your journey that things WILL happen for you, and it is key to truly believe it in your heart. What you think about yourself reflects on the quality of the work you do, and a positive attitude creates opportunities you never knew existed.
