2016 is beaming with good music, and both new and established artists are dropping albums left and right. It can be hard to seek out the things you want to listen to, but a few of them stand out of the crowd. Here are three artists you should listen to right now.
1. Raleigh Ritchie
Raleigh Ritchie is the stage name of Jacob Anderson, Bristol-born actor and musician. He makes electronic R&B pop and recently released his 18-track debut album "You're A Man Now, Boy."
Oh, and he also has a role in this show you might have heard of:
2. Kaytranada
Haiti-born, Montreal-raised Louis Kevin Celestin has been producing as Kaytranada since 2010, but only recently released his first full-length album. "99.9%" is a powerhouse and features collaborations with a wide array of talented musicians. Anderson Paak, featured on the track above, is also worth a listen.
3. Shy Girls
Shy Girls is the stage name of American PBR&B producer and singer-songwriter Dan Vidmar. His debut EP "Timeshare" was met with critical acclaim, and the Portland-based musician released a 13-track mixtape called "4WZ" in 2015.
