Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Came Long After Mac Miller’s Drug Addiction, So Please Leave Her Alone

We don't fault others from leaving toxic relationships, so why blame her for it all

No matter how in love with someone a person is, they can only take so much before their breaking point.

We do not know what happened between Ariana Grande and Mac Miller. We don't know what instance led to their May break up, or what was going on in either of their heads. But what we do know is that Ariana Grande is not the reason for Mac Miller's death, addiction is the reason for it.

A disease that most people refuse to even call a disease, something that most just slide under the rug.

But it is a very real problem for a lot of people and their loved ones. We don't know what was said or what was done regarding Mac's substance issues, but what we do know is that Ariana is a woman who no matter how much she loved him, she deserved happiness. Substance abuse is hardest on the loved ones of those that are affected by it, and she was no exception. She saw that she needed to leave for possible her own mental health, how can we fault her for that.

Many of us have been in toxic relationships where we had to leave just for our own sake, no one is blaming those for actions of their former partners. So again, why should she be any different? It shouldn't have to come to a point where she must disable her Instagram because people are blasting her with comments blaming her. She is mourning him just as we all, probably more so, we should not make this even harder on her than it already is. It all comes down to one thing, we do not know what was going on in their personal relationship, we do not know what kind of pain either of them was going through.

We should not be blaming her for walking away from a toxic relationship, one that she never bashed in the media and only offered love and support afterwards for.

Ariana Grande was not the reason for Mac Miller's death, substance abuse was. This is why substance abuse is so hard and no one wants to talk about it being the real reason for so many deaths. Instead, everyone wants to blame everything else, such as the girl who left a toxic relationship.

Mourn Mac Miller now, listen to his music on repeat and remember him for the amazing artist that he is.

But DO NOT put this blame on a girl who is mourning just the same as you are, she lost someone important to her too.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
