Now before all of you jump down my throat just understand that this is my personal opinion and I respect any other opinion when it comes to this topic. I am not bashing anyone in any shape, way or form and I will be depicting both sides of this argument.

As a person who enjoys sneaker culture and is slightly involved at times (attends sneaker conventions) I do not condone the wearing of fake sneakers not at all. Simply. Here is why and also one side of this argument. Wearing fakes sneakers to me is almost like stealing from a company and stealing away from a culture! Wearing a sneaker that is not authentic to the brand that it is portraying is supporting plagiarism. The sneakers that are replicated are not the real thing and somewhere either in the sneaker or box it looks as if it giving credit but it is not because it does what most students do change something around to make it their own. Right or wrong? That is what makes a fake sneaker. YeezyBusta is a Instagram page that simply exposes celebrities and others for wearing fake Yeezy's among other pages that expose fake sneakers in general. They posted this and this something that I agree with if you cannot afford the sneaker it is not for you and there is nothing wrong with that.

I understand from the financial aspect of things— and going through a re-seller—a sneaker will, more than likely, cost more than the price they were originally retailed at. If that is the case, folks, just save up the money and buy the sneaker. Do your research. Not all of the prices will be as high as you think! For this article I will be using the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 as you see in the cover photo. I do not agree with the price because the shoe itself does not cost that much to make— nor did it retail at that price— but the price comes strictly from demand. And you want them, right? Demanding them, right? Okay, then pay what you have to pay. "The demand for fakes is only there because people are sick of paying $700-$800 on a pair of Jordans." said by, Matt a fake sneaker collector. Well, Matt, things go up in price when the demand for them is high so you can only blame re-sellers for that or move more quickly when it comes to going in-store for them newest sneaker or shopping for them online.

As you see above, an authentic pair of Adidas Yeezy 350 boost will cost you $900 and this pair has some minor wear and tear on them or you can purchase a fake pair for $23.77. So, you would save $876.23 if you buy a fake pair which is major savings. But, as you see in the title of the fake pair, it says nothing claiming that it is Adidas and boost is spelled "boostes" but within the picture it has the Adidas logo which gives you the indication that these are replicas. While in the authentic pair you know exactly what you are buying! I understand not everyone can afford a pair of $900 sneakers or even pay $44 a month for 24 months but what is stopping you from saving up for them or even doing research to find an authentic pair for a smaller price or even working out a lower price with the seller? Nothing. If you truly want something, you are willing to work for it no matter what it is, so work for the sneakers. Many people, including me, do it. Now, at the same time you could get a good pair of fakes and have everyone think you spent that $900 on those sneakers. But wouldn't that make you a fraud? Think about it. Now Shoe_Butter, a well known sneaker collector, defends the other side of this argument which is wearing fake sneakers well in this case Yeezy's is okay: I do understand where he is coming from but I just do not agree! My rebuttal to him would simply be "Why not work for them?" Everyone should know that buying any high-priced sneaker is an investment, so when you do out grow them, you just sell them. I have done it myself with no issue! Long story short, y'all, do not promote this subculture of replicas. You aren't doing anything but supporting plagiarism! Be willing to work for what you want in life even if it is a sneaker. “If you can kill the resale market, you can kill the fake market.”

But, at the end of the day, folks, do what makes you happy in life. Do not let me or anyone stop you from doing that!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
