When was the last time you told someone you loved them? Have you told them that you are thankful for their existence and that you are grateful for having met them and keeping them in your life?

While our everyday responsibilities are important, it's crucial that we do not forget about those who we love and care about. It is just as important, if not more important to make sure we make time for them and to let them know how much they mean to us.

I have found that life is shorter than we think it is, and we only have so much time with people in this life, and often we take advantage of said time. We need to stop and remember that nobody is promised tomorrow and anything can happen at any given moment. So, we need to take the time we have to tell those we love that we love them.

There are many people we might know that may have greatly impacted our lives, but they had no idea that they did so. There are so many little things that people do that influence our lives that we don't appreciate until it's too late.

Often enough, we get so caught up in life that we forget the roles of others in our lives. We forget to let them know how we feel, but we have to remember to tell them before we don't have the chance to.

Unfortunately, we live in a generation that is too scared to talk about any affectionate or even unaffectionate feelings that we have towards anyone else. We find it hard to even realize, and admit that we have these feelings at all.

In my opinion, the world would be a much better place if we could just let those we love know how we feel. You never know when someone's life could be taken from them so take the chance, let people know how you feel and how much you appreciate them.

Thank them for what they did for you because maybe they didn't even realize they've left an everlasting impact on your life and the world around them. You only have one chance in life and you should use it to express how you really feel about things.

With that, use every day as another chance to let those that you love know that you do in fact love and care about them. Don't wait until it's too late and just take any given risk to get your feelings out there and acknowledged. Tomorrow isn't promised, so take advantage of today.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
