As a new school year begins and I am finally settling into my new apartment, my next big step in "adulting" is to find a part-time job. After filling out countless applications that ask for personal information, references, and previous work experience, I am realizing that applying for jobs is time consuming, exhausting and most of all, stressful. If you've ever been on a job hunt, I'm sure you can relate to these:
1. The moment you see a "We're Hiring" sign in a store window
2. Asking an employee for an application
3. After filling out the application
4. Getting a call from your potential employer
5. Getting ready for an interview
6. Having to answer questions on the spot like "Why do you want to work here?" or "What does customer service mean to you?"
7. When your interviewer tells you about the pay rate and employee discount, and you act like you had no idea, but secretly you did your research
8. When your interviewer seems to really like you, but then says they'll call instead of just hiring you on the spot
9. Finding out you got the job
