12 People Who Should Make An Appearance on Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour

If you frequent social media of any kind, specifically Instagram, you've probably seen pictures of the star-packed hangout sessions that are The 1989 World Tour. Taylor Swift has created a tour in which each show comes with the added excitement of wondering which A-List celeb will make an appearance that night. Taylor's long list of guest have included Justin Timberlake, Fifth Harmony, John Legend, Lisa Kudrow, Ellen Degeneres, the US Women's Soccer Team, Kobe Bryant and pretty much the entire cast of the Bad Blood music video, just to name a few! The 1989 World Tour doesn't end until December and Taylor has got a lot of tour left to fill. That means a whole lot more fun celeb appearances. Just in case Taylor runs out of stars to jam with, I've taken the liberty of coming up with some possible guest ideas. You're welcome, Tay.

  1. Donald Trump - I'm totally kidding. He doesn't need that promo.
  2. Hilary Clinton - I'm only half kidding about this one. I'm not sure where Taylor Swift stands politically but I think Hilary would make a great addition to the tour if Tay happens to have a show in Cedar Rapids.
  3. Snoop Dog - I'm not exactly sure why I believe this is a good idea but somewhere deep in my heart I feel like this is really meant to happen.
  4. Beyonce Blue Ivy - Having Beyonce would be far too much for anyone to handle and don't think Taylor wants to be responsible for the lawsuits that would arise when everyone in the stadium simultaneously collapsed. Blue is a good compromise. Plus, imagine the cuteness of little Blue preforming the full choreography of Style with Tay. That's something I would like to see.
  5. The Avengers - As a total Marvel fangirl I'm probably a bit biased but I strongly believe that if any superhero team needs to grace Tay's stage, it's this one.
  6. Ruth Bader Gienburg - Yes, she's not Taylor's typical guest but Ruthie is arguably the cutest woman in US right now and deserve a stop on the tour. She's 82 and she continues to run things like the HBIC she is. Plus, Taylor is all about supporting women so why not support for women in all fields?
  7. Bill Nye - Imagine a sold out stadium chanting "Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill". Yes, Please.
  8. Kate McKinnon as Justin Bieber - It's a well known fact that Kate McKinnon's Justin Bieber impression is so good it cures most mild illnesses and watching it gives you the same nutrients as sunlight. For the sake of humanity I really think Taylor should take my advice and call up the 30 Rock so she can borrow Kate for a night or two.
  9. Katy Perry - Air out some of that bad blood live on stage. Band-aids don't fix bullet holes but I bet the publicity from a 1989 World Tour cameo could make the wound sting a little less.
  10. One Direction (reunited) - This is a long shot but if Taylor could get One Direction to reunite with Zayn for just one night, she would prove herself as the most powerful being of the 21st Century and we would have to elect her as President/Leader of the Galaxy. I know about half of her album is about her breakup with Harry but if she were able to put the past aside for one night she could pull the biggest power play of our time.
  11. Guy Fieri - 1989 World Tour meets Flavortown sounds like a match made in heaven.
  12. Me - I'm 100 percent available, Taylor. School is starting soon but I'm willing to skip class for you. I know my education is important but honestly, Taylor, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
