Greetings, friends.
This week has found me in the midst of yet another dining hall adventure! So far, I have had Brandeis every day for breakfast. If you ever go, I strongly recommend the potatoes, or the hash browns, their French toast, the pancakes, the waffles, and whatever fruity decadent topping they have. Today I had two pancakes with the fruit topping and a generous portion of potatoes. I, for my beverage, had chocolate almond milk. It was the bomb dot com.
I have unfortunately not had Becker this week, so I have had Brandeis for lunch as well. On average, I must say that I found the lunches, depending on what you choose, to be pretty lit. The French fries or tater tots are always delicious. The grill guy consistently makes bomb food. I had pasta a few days ago, and it was good. Today, I just had pineapple, cantaloupe, an apple, and a banana. If you just want the healthy stuff, it's pretty worth it. Salad-wise, who knows? I strongly dislike salad, so I couldn't tell you if Brandeis' is good. But maybe next week I'll try it, for my fans.
Dinner this week has been pretty good. The grill guy, again, has consistently grilled up some classic dishes. But the real winner was the steak dinner that Harper had this Tuesday. It was sooo good. I mean, I've had better steaks before. But this was definitely great quality. They also had a baked potato to serve with it, as well as some broccoli.
I also may have grabbed a chicken Philly cheesesteak...and the shrimp noodle bowl...but life is short, and it was delicious. So far, my dining experiences have been better. But that is really only because I stayed away from the pizza and hamburgers that are bountifully prepared for us. My advice, friends: stick with the grill guy, and Harper. Harper is lit.
