With so many people active on Facebook, comes a lot of dumb posts. I'm pretty sure, most people you know have a Facebook, so you should be able to think of a lot of annoying things that you see on the site. Here are the most annoying things I see on Facebook:

1. Political posts

I am so sick of seeing politics on Facebook. Trust me, everyone, we know exactly who the president is, and we know what's happening in the political world. No need for my timeline to be filled with political rants, thanks.

2. FarmVille invites

Wow! You have a job just like everyone else? Ok, no need to spam me with annoying marketing tactics to try and buy your product/service.

4. Sharing every detail of their life

Trust me, Charline, we have heard enough about your crazy neighbors. I too feel like I can hear people screaming at 2 AM and I live nowhere near you.

5. Song lyrics

Please end this. I remember posting song lyrics to Taio Cruz a decade ago. See, I did this a decade ago, so it should've died there.

6. Twitter posts

Last time I checked, I opened up the Facebook app, not the Twitter one. If you have something to say on Twitter, either leave it there or post in on Facebook. Don't link the two, please.

7. Know-it-alls

This may never end but it should. Trust me, I know that the world is not flat. Please don't post a thousand-word post about the diameter of the earth's surface. Keep it to yourself or write an article about it.

8. Spoilers

Let me give you a quick example. The season 8 mid-season finale of "Walking Dead" just aired and I'm not fully caught up yet. For those of you who have seen it, I feel like I have too because of THE MAJOR SPOILER THAT PEOPLE WERE POSTING. People who post spoilers are literally jerks.

9. Sexual posts

I don't think that Facebook is an appropriate place to post half naked pictures of yourselves or others. It's actually disgusting. There are too many sexual posts out there and it needs to stop.

10. Event invites

I consider myself a busy individual, and receiving 10,000 event invites is overwhelming. Just stop inviting all of the time.

11. Chain letters

“Repost this or you will die in a week” and It’s just a picture of a pencil? I don’t understand the things people will do for views.

12. Exercise pictures

Tom, we know you have a twelve pack. The first 10,000 pictures were enough for me to know that.

13. Fake links

I hate these a lot. The click bait looks so interesting at the time, but then you click the the link and it's just spam.

Facebook can have you scrolling for hours, but these annoying things really make me want to throw my phone out the window.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
