Whether you are single or in a committed relationship, we all can appreciate the wonders of love. Sometimes, you look around at the happy couples you know in your everyday life, and it fills you with hope and warm-fuzzy feelings. However, it is also probably true that you also observe some very annoying things about the couples around you, whether at school, work, or just out in public. So here is a list of several annoying/ gross tendencies you might have noticed about some of the couples you know.

1. Making out with gum.

[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F07%2F30%2F636055149258019963-226459976_blond-couples-cute-funny-Favim.com-3056597.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=448&h=611b3cf81f8d9ffb33ca32d50d13d523e0b5ba7b23bd357c38976e07f3e75c34&size=980x&c=1739077380 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F07%252F30%252F636055149258019963-226459976_blond-couples-cute-funny-Favim.com-3056597.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D448%26h%3D611b3cf81f8d9ffb33ca32d50d13d523e0b5ba7b23bd357c38976e07f3e75c34%26size%3D980x%26c%3D1739077380%22%7D" expand=1]

I can’t even explain how gross I find this. I don’t care how much you love your boyfriend—you can get your own stick of gum. When you really think about it, making out on its own is pretty disgusting. It’s basically just one horrific mashing together of saliva and tongues. Add a lumpy, chewy piece of gum into the equation, and you have yourself the most unappealing display of affection ever. Just do yourself a favor and kiss your SO sans Hubba Bubba.

2. Posting pictures of them kissing each other.

[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F636056630861579553146131144_stupid-couples-17.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=813&h=aaa6217c8ae2e0a9ff354236fe2b5e786a054f42bebc4ceaca255be3c93a22ea&size=980x&c=2968258917 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F636056630861579553146131144_stupid-couples-17.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D813%26h%3Daaa6217c8ae2e0a9ff354236fe2b5e786a054f42bebc4ceaca255be3c93a22ea%26size%3D980x%26c%3D2968258917%22%7D" expand=1]

I hate to burst your love-bubble, but the world is not a romantic movie in which the two of you are the stars. It’s great that you love to kiss your girlfriend, but there is a time and a place, and that place is not Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Unless you have at least a million Instagram followers, you probably aren’t famous or interesting enough for people to want to see you sucking face with someone on your feed. Beyonce and Jay-Z? Sure. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds? Absolutely. The girl from my biology and her boyfriend? Yeah, I’ll pass on that one.

3. Constantly talking about their significant other.

[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F636056639508349525-1542340256_mrw_i_see_annoying_couples_on_facebook-25735.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=922&h=0a425ef6f9245df268729af6a5ebde9a5fd39483bbc87f966fb52dcd650530ef&size=980x&c=4279128639 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F636056639508349525-1542340256_mrw_i_see_annoying_couples_on_facebook-25735.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D922%26h%3D0a425ef6f9245df268729af6a5ebde9a5fd39483bbc87f966fb52dcd650530ef%26size%3D980x%26c%3D4279128639%22%7D" expand=1]

We get it. You’re super into your girlfriend/boyfriend. And you should be really obsessed with your significant other—why date them if you aren’t? But if you are constantly randomly bringing up them up in conversations without a cue, it can get boring and a little annoying. You should be enough of an individual that you have other things to talk about. Sure, if someone asks about your partner, go right ahead. If not, try not to flood the conversation with stories of your significant other.

4. Making out in movie theaters.[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F6360566385941422222111411489_pda-gif.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=378&h=aa17419d281cea546068eb99b17b4b57e9b248f9ae333f9016f73701a3b56988&size=980x&c=2336334015 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F6360566385941422222111411489_pda-gif.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D378%26h%3Daa17419d281cea546068eb99b17b4b57e9b248f9ae333f9016f73701a3b56988%26size%3D980x%26c%3D2336334015%22%7D" expand=1]

So you’re telling me you paid $12 to see the biggest movie of the year in a theater and you’re going to spend the entire film with your face glued to your girlfriend’s face? Gross! Not only is it a waste of money but people can definitely see you and it’s creeping them out. There are kids and old people all around you. I know you love each other, but maybe hold off until the end credits.

5. Wearing matching clothes.[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F636056637524921286214616664_stupid-couples-18.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=151&h=f1ef45621ce7a7b26e8034bf25102a619d66796e146c6d0f910f8a8ccf967091&size=980x&c=3250360560 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F636056637524921286214616664_stupid-couples-18.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D151%26h%3Df1ef45621ce7a7b26e8034bf25102a619d66796e146c6d0f910f8a8ccf967091%26size%3D980x%26c%3D3250360560%22%7D" expand=1]

Unless you’re taking picture for your junior prom or on the same rec basketball team, please do not wear matching couple’s outfits. In the abstract, it may seem cute and fun, but it always just ends up looking awkward and cringey. You don’t need cutesy T-shirts with silly sayings or color-coordinating to be a good couple. You can do that without out any lace or frills.

6. Too much PDA at school.[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F636056632648577110571649944_Im-so-jealous-Community-GIF.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=369&h=db30e8937dbbdad36a0f340df88a592d5009d6a072117b854d34ee00d4cf4ecd&size=980x&c=1262984928 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F636056632648577110571649944_Im-so-jealous-Community-GIF.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D369%26h%3Ddb30e8937dbbdad36a0f340df88a592d5009d6a072117b854d34ee00d4cf4ecd%26size%3D980x%26c%3D1262984928%22%7D" expand=1]

It doesn’t matter if you were voted cutest couple four years running for the yearbook—your peers do not want to see the two of you making out in a stairwell or holding hands in the middle of biology. Not only does it make everyone else feel bad about themselves, it’s also just completely inappropriate. There are teachers, principals, janitors, and counselors all over the place, and they are all judging the kids who can’t keep their hands off each other. Teachers gossip, and the last thing you want is to be the subject of their idle chatter because you’ve been too lovey-dovey with your boyfriend in the hallway. Make school the time for learning and friends, and save your personal life for after the bell rings.

7. Fighting in front of friends.[rebelmouse-proxy-image https://media.rbl.ms/image?u=%2Ffiles%2F2016%2F08%2F01%2F6360566314130673591918383529_new-1-paralysedbeaver.gif&ho=https%3A%2F%2Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net&s=491&h=33fbd63021c777728832f4dab98eb4479b7bf990dc7ae31ef7be8be9240c2962&size=980x&c=1652485438 crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//media.rbl.ms/image%3Fu%3D%252Ffiles%252F2016%252F08%252F01%252F6360566314130673591918383529_new-1-paralysedbeaver.gif%26ho%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Faz616578.vo.msecnd.net%26s%3D491%26h%3D33fbd63021c777728832f4dab98eb4479b7bf990dc7ae31ef7be8be9240c2962%26size%3D980x%26c%3D1652485438%22%7D" expand=1]

OK, it’s not like anyone expects your relationship to be perfect, and it’s perfectly normal to have rocky periods sometimes. But you should absolutely not involve your friends in your relationship problems too much. Occasional seeking of advice or complaining about your SO is understandable, but if you start to try to make mutual friends pick sides or get friends to intervene in a fight, it gets awkward for everyone. It is also never okay to start a fight with your partner while you are out with friends. Even if they are making you extremely angry, just wait to handle the issue in behind closed doors.

As a college student, my backpack is an extension of myself in many ways. It contains my notes, pens, and computer vital for my success in college. It contains the snacks and water bottle I need to survive long days on campus. It also contains the "in-case" items that help put my mind at rest if I forgot something from home: extra hair ties, masks, and that backup-backup snack. With so much in my backpack important to me and my life on campus, it is no wonder that I can get apprehensive about it when it is not with me or in my line of sight. And that makes me wonder.

'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' Film Review

Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson lead a tigher, more fun sequel to 2018's 'Venom'

When Sony announced that Venom would be getting a stand-alone movie, outside of the Tom Holland MCU Spider-Man films, and intended to start its own separate shared universe of films, the reactions were generally not that kind. Even if Tom Hardy was going to take on the role, why would you take Venom, so intrinsically connected to Spider-Man's comic book roots, and remove all of that for cheap action spectacle?
