Anjunabeats Worldwide 07 Tour will be making its way to Phoenix on September 9th at the Monarch Theater with Grum, FEHRPLAY, and Judah. Anjunabeats Worldwide is known for creating mixes with some of the world's best and most well know producers and DJs.
Anjunabeats puts out hour long mixes from guest DJs that are a nice way to unwind from a long day or get a little pick me up to your day. Anjunabeats Worldwide 517 features none other than Grum and I advise you to go check it out here. September 9th is bound to be a care-free night full of great people, positive vibes, and good music.
Progressive house is a genre that I am fairly new to but it has an enjoyable relaxed feel that doesn't demand attention. Dubstep has made a name for itself by being a loud and boisterous symphony of heavy sounds that get in your face and fights for your attention.
Progressive house is the opposite, it is all about how the rhythm will progress and asks nothing of its audience. It is a relaxed yet confident genre that does its own thing and periodically will hit a climax adding a variety that lets you find your own groove.
Graeme Shepard aka Grum is a melodic progressive house producer who has the styling similar to what you could expect from Daft Punk, Above and Beyond and Tiesto. Grum has been all over the world playing sold out shows since 2013, dominating main stages and making a name for progressive house. Shout and Reflections have been some of Grum's newest solo work but he has not slowed down making many appearances on BBC Radio 1 and Anjunabeats.
Jonas von der Fehr is an intricate progressive house and techno producer from Oslo, Norway known as FEHRPLAY. FEHRPLAY is fresh off of his Mau5trap debut, Prophet which was a huge success with fans of progressive house and even people like me who just started listening.
On top of that, on Wednesday August 30th he released a new single on Soundcloud titled Void. FEHRPLAY will undoubtedly be bringing the progressive house vibes to one of Arizona's most common EDM venues, hopefully pleasing not only progressive house fans, but also music fans looking to expand their musical tastes.
Judah is a newer name that I am not entirely familiar with, but after listening to their music for the better part of two hours including their Anjunabeats Worldwide 535 mix, their newest single Boss Fight, and a few of their remixes, I can definitely say that I can't wait to see how they do, They have a fresh new energy to their songs and put together solid mixes that flow well.
I can't wait to see you all there and you can get your tickets at Ticketfly here .
