I have finally joined the "Supernatural" fan club, and I literally have wanted to slap myself in the face due to making myself delay watching this show. After getting a pretty intense lecture (in a good way of course) about how I should watch this delectable and eye-glued-to-the-laptop show. Well a few weeks ago, I plopped down after a long Saturday at work and getting through a 12-page essay, I felt like watching this show would help me unwind, stupidly thinking that this show was so light hearted...Kourtney, you damn fool.

6 hours later...

I literally flashed through the first season within a few days, and it was just my cup of tea, or in Dean's terminology, whiskey.

What I enjoyed about the show was how original the show is. The monster hunting that involved regional and international legends, traveling throughout the entire country to save the world from nightmarish creatures that only existed on the internet. One town, two brothers, and an impala that could make any girl's panties drop.

But what else? There is something with Sam and Dean that not only makes us want to have them save us damsels in distress. The chemistry that bounces off them. Sam comes off as this type of person who wants to do right by himself, and others. He had a shot at a normal life, (silly man, your life has NEVER been normal). Trying to escape the dark world that his family and him hunt. Even though he does want vengeance for his mother and girlfriend, he wants to help other families so assure the same does not happen to them. (Watch the show, guys!) There are times where he does come off as the innocent, intelligent person with boyish charm and makes you feel safe knowing he is there with John's journal in hand and you behind him to protect you.

Then you have the ladies' favorite, Dean.

The badass, the smartass, the player, the sex-god who always gets laid etc...

Sam's sexy older brother, who is always looking out for Sam no matter what. He also wants to protect the world as well, but you may notice there is more to him that comes off as much darker. Like there is something that he is hiding under his leather jacket. Spoiler alert. His dad did sell his soul to a powerful Demon to save Dean when he had brain injuries. Well ladies, even though you shouldn't be attracted to his dark side, but with his large eyes and adorable smile, he will lure into his trap. You want to know more, but at the same time, you don't want to.

As a lover of the paranormal, "Supernatural" leaves me wanting more, and has made me cry because of people dying, and getting hurt. Trust me though, guys and gals, check this show out. If I can get my stubborn boyfriend to enjoy it and brag about how he is ahead of me, then you will want to watch it too. Join this hunt...

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
