Let me start out by saying how blessed I am to have you in my life, not only as my sister, but as my best friend. No matter what life throws at me, I know that ill have you, to be my shoulder to cry on, hand to hold, or just a listening ear.

Thank you for being my rock. My safe place place, and being there.

Thank you for keeping my secrets. Like the time we told mom that I was at your house, but I was really out with friends.

Thank you for always covering for me.

Thank you for blessing me with my nieces and nephews. They mean the world to me.

Thank you for sharing your clothes with me. Even when you had no idea I took them

Thank you for being my role model; and someone to look up too.

Thank you for never giving up on me. For standing by me through anything.

Thank you for getting me through that brutal breakup. It was tough for us all.

Thank you for always making sure I'm okay.

Thank you for saying “text me when you get home, so I know you make it safe.”

I could go on forever, but I wont. Let me just say this.

Thank you for loving me just the way I am.

And, Thank you for being my very best friend.

Without you, I’d be lost. I love you more than anything. Thank you for teaching me everything I need to know about while I’m looking for the man I’ll spend forever with.

Thank you for simply being you.

Love,

Your Baby Sister

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
