Dear Friend,
I can't believe that this much time has passed since you left us. The days don't seem the same with out you. There is one less place to set on the holidays, one less name in the yearbook, and one less seat taken in class. It's hard to wake up in the morning and know that we won't see your beautiful smile or hear your contagious laugh. Life is a one-time deal and it is such a shame that some people's life is so much shorter than others. It shows that you just got to make the most of what you had.
It seems like heaven is a nice place, at least that is what I learned. Tell me, is it as wonderful as we are all told it is? Do you have dance parties with the angels? That would be pretty awesome! I feel like you just have parties in the sky all the time. Things are pretty much the same down here on Earth. It's cold one day and hot the next, we get snow and rain and everything in between. I am sure you don't miss that too much. I'm sure you watch us all from up there from time to time, and see all the things we do good or bad. It's probably a lot different up there than it is down here, isn't it?
You know, in all your pain and all your bad days, you never seemed to let that bring you down. You always seemed to happy and cheerful. That stayed with you until your very last breath. That night we all gathered to mourn your loss, there was no sound except for weeps of sadness. It was like you were right there with us, letting us know that you are going to be OK.
We all miss you! I miss the crazy girls nights we would have, the lunch table talks at school, and much more. Its hard to grasp the idea that we wouldn't see your face around town or in the hallways anymore, our phones would buzz and it wouldn't be you, and that's the most upsetting part. Some days all any of us want to do is talk to you or see you, or hear your voice, but we cannot do that right now. Maybe one day, once we join you up there, we can catch up on all the things you missed.
The one thing you taught all of us was that life is short and you have to enjoy it. You hung on as long as you could, proving that every minute and breath is important. We all have one life so we have to make it a good life. The worst things in life come free to us, but it is up to us to choose how we deal with them. We cannot take our lives for granted because we don't know when our last day will be. You lived your life with such grace and lots of happiness and that is something I will always admire.
I hope Heaven keeps treating you well. Don't have too much fun without us. See you again one day, beautiful angel.
Love You!
