Dear Mom,
Where do I even begin? First of all, I need to say thank you. You have turned me into the person I am today and slowly but surely, I'm turning into you — which I love! You are such an incredible role model to me and everyone and you show me everyday how to me a strong, faithful and independent woman. You put up with me through the bratty, dramatic pre-teen years and for that, you are a super-woman! I don't know how I would have made it this far without you, so for that I say thank you, but also, thank you for:
1. Always telling me the truth, even though you know I won't always like it.
2. Teaching me how to properly do my hair.
3. For always giving me honest advice and not laughing at my ridiculous drama.
4. Telling me to put lipstick on.
5. Bringing me coffee in the mornings.
6. Teaching me how to be respected in the real world.
7. Telling me that no matter what, it's important to tell others how you really feel.
8. Helping me develop my love for traveling.
9. Always forgiving me for my unnecessary sassiness.
10. Letting me go to an out of state school, even though you wanted me close.
11. Being that "strict parent" because it helped me in the long run.
12. Answering my questions like, "Can I still eat this even though it's expired?" "Can you pick up my contacts?" and many, many more.
13. For sending me amazing care packages.
14. Listening to me cry about that test I studied for for hours.
15. Being my number one best friend.
16. For telling everyone I'm your sister when we're out shopping.
17. Letting me borrow your shoes, jewelry, clothes, hair straightener...
18. Talking to me on the phone while I walk back from class.
19. Showing my boyfriend and friends ugly pictures of me when I was little.
20. And for being my number one supporter in everything.
Mom, you truly are the best woman on this earth and I will always love you unconditionally. I can't thank you enough for all the amazing things you do. Thank you for being you.
