You're going to go through some hard times in your life, but don't get discouraged and don't be afraid.

There are going to be days that you just want to give up, and you'll feel like you can't go on. Things will happen that will cause you to question everything. You'll have heartbreaks that you'll think you won't be able to get over. There'll be times where you just feel so alone and like you aren't good enough.

But I want to tell you to not give up. Don't buy into the lies of the enemy, but instead, stand strong in the promises and Word of the Lord.

Matthew 28:20 says, "For I am with you always to the very end of the age." The Bible tells us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and that He has a plan for our lives. Even when you feel alone and lost, even in your darkest times, God is with you and has a plan for you. He has your life and purpose planned out. All you have to do is just trust that His plan is greater than your own and continue to walk with Him.

Keep your child-like faith in the Lord. Don't blame Him for the hard times that you will face. Know that there will be trials and tribulations because of the world that we live in, but that God is with you always. Don't falter in your faith, but instead, stand strong in the fact that you know He has you in His hands and nothing will ever change that no matter how alone you feel.

Don't try and avoid or change the hard times that you'll face, and don't dread or fear them. Instead, know that everything that you are going to go through, both good and bad times, will shape you into who you are meant to be. These trials and tribulations will shape, mold, and mature you. They will teach you life lessons, make you stronger, and help you grow. Know that they are presented to you purposefully and that you must change your outlook when you face them.

Also, I want you to know that everything won't always be so hard. You're going to have some really good times as well. Don't forget to be prayerful and thankful during the good times, and don't take them for granted. Cherish the good times and lean on God during the hard ones. Rejoice and be thankful always.

I can't teach you everything in life; you'll have to learn the rest for yourself. I just want you to know these few pieces of advice as you go through it.

Live your life for the Lord and He will always pull you through any situation you face. Trust in Him and know that He will follow through all the promises that He has made.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
