Dear Girl who gave up,

You can be 16, walking through the halls of high school.

You can be 21, in college and scared for your future.

You can be 30, afraid to settle down.

You can be 60, worried you didn't live life to the fullest.

There's one thing I need to tell all of you, DON'T GIVE UP! No matter what how old you are, what stage in life you are, there is no reason to give up.

16 can be rough. I've been there. Trying to make friends, or even trying to keep the ones you have. Mass amounts of homework while trying to study for those SATs. Don't even get me started on all the drama with boys at that age. If there is just one thing you remember it's that you are worth it. You can do this. Take that 15 minute break, but study for 20 more minutes at the end. Go out and talk to new people, make new friends. Life is so short. There is no need to give up. Remember, you are worth it!

To the girl around 21, life goes on. College is hard, yes, but it will be SO worth all the hard work once you have that dream job! Don't give up after that low grade on a quiz. Study harder and do even better on the next one to make up for it. When the boy you were dating broke up with you for no good reason, don't give up, life goes on! Get right back out there and find someone he will treat you even better than the last! Life is too short to give up because of minuscule things.

Go ahead and settle down! Why are you wasting all that time that you can be in love, take chances! I'm sure you guys get into fights, but every couple does. What are you gonna do for the rest of your life, be single and miserable? Hell no! Go ahead and settle down. Take that wild chance and make it the best you can!

Again, as we all know life is short. You're now 60 years old, sitting at home reflecting back on your life. Those new friends in high school you made are still your best friends. That dream job you studied for, in now your career making lots of money. That boy you didn't want to settle down with, is now your loving husband with three beautiful young children.

Life gets crazy and throws lots of curveballs at you, only for you to be able to take a swing and hit it out of the park! Never give up! Take a swing at whatever life throws at you and make it s home run! Yes, life is short. That just means you have to live life to the fullest all the time! You're not gonna remember s night you got all that sleep. You will remember the 100 on the test, the boyfriend who saved you, or the job offer you got. Those will be the times you remember! So don't give up, keep trying and hit that home run!!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
