Dear New Members,
We know this weekend and the recruitment process, in general, was stressful, emotional, and long, but congratulations, you've found your forever home.
Now, before the fun stuff starts, there are a few things that must be done, such as some ceremonies that may seem dumb, at first, and clothes that need to be purchased pretty quickly in order to attend these ceremonies.
So, please hang tight— the first week is a little chaotic and rocky as everyone is throwing information at you, telling you who to contact with any questions, and different numbers to put in your phone along with various events and times to make note of.
We are all more than ecstatic to have you with us and can only hope you enjoy this experience as much as we do.
So, put on your seatbelts and get ready to take more pictures than you could have ever imagined, and get your planners ready because you will be having many lunch dates with everyone to get to know your new sisters very quickly.
Yes, the sorority squat is a thing, and you will get the hang of it very quickly..
Life is going to be pretty busy at times, and new member education programs will begin to kick in to full effect, but stick with it and be there for your fellow new member class sisters because everyone is in the same boat as you.
Oh, and you can always confide in your actives; we’ve all been there and done that, we know how overwhelming it can be and the quantity of information needed to be known in a quick amount of time.
All of our planning and practice has now finished, and we are more than happy to welcome you into our sisterhood with open arms; now buckle up and enjoy the ride!
After all, it's not four years, it's for life.
Sincerely,
An active who's been there and done that and take it from me, it's worth every second of it
