Dear best friend,
First of all, I shouldn’t even be calling you my best friend, you are more like a sister to me. You are one of many important people in my life; I hope you know that. There are so many things that I love about you and so many times I knew you were more than just a best friend to me. You’re not like any other best friend I have because unlike them, you understand me, sometimes even better than I understand myself.
I want to thank you for all that you do for me. It may seem like you don’t do much, but like they say, it’s the little things that matter. So, thank you for laughing with me, even though I know some of my jokes are not always funny. Thank you for being my partner in crime, most of the times we were together we were causing some sort of trouble whether it was harmless or not. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on when I was down about something or someone. Most importantly, thank you for always being there for me whenever I needed you. I know we have gone through many different times where we could not stand each other, but thank you for those moments too.
Let’s face it, we both have had our fights, but they usually did not last long. Whether it was over boys, or a TV show we disagreed about, luckily we both came back to each other. When we fight with each other, I personally don’t feel good about it, but just like sisters we have to disagree sometimes. I think about the fights and know that without them we would not have this amazing sisterly bond. So thank you for fighting with me.
You mean a lot to me because you are family. I don’t know if I’d be the person I am today without you, so thank you for that as well. You are both a good and a bad influence on me, but it’s one of those things I like about you so much, and it’s also what makes you who you are. Please don’t ever change. I love the person you are, and it’s a major reason to why we’re sisters. I have an entire life ahead of me and I hope that you are willing to be part of it because as crazy as my life can be, sometimes, I know you enjoy being the reason to why it’s crazy. Without you, my life would be plain and simple. You bring excitement to my life and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
