Dear Mom,
I know it's been hard this year being apart from you. Your love is forever and I know you care for me always. I just want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for the everlasting love. Thank you for the endless encouragement. Thank you for believing in me. For showing me that any dream can be made into reality. For showing me fears are nothing that I can't conquer. You have given me more strength than you know.
Thank you for all the long phone calls. Thank you for the shoulder to cry on. Thank you for all of those home cooked meals even when you were tired. Thank you for having my back. You have given so much to me it's so hard to not write a book series just on thanking you. So, I simply thank you for everything you do from long hours at work to checking my temperature.
You mean more to me than you know. You are the most loving and genuine person I know by far. You bring light into a dark room. You bring smiles when it's the hardest to. You give the best hugs, which make me feel loved and safe in your arms. You are quite amazing inside and out. I would not change who you are for a second.
I hope you know how important you are; Without you, this family would be a huge mess. You bring sanity to our crazy bunch and keep us all in line. You have taught us how important it is to love genuinely and full-heartedly. You have taught us the importance of telling someone what you like about them. You have taught us that a smile can be the best medicine. You taught us that everyone is important even in their flaws. You have taught us that manners and respect show who you really are. You have already blessed our family and others so much - with so much more to come.
Mom you are the most amazing person I know. You have given me everything and more and I really can't thank you enough. You are truly my rock, best friend, and mentor. I look up to you so much because I know even if I become half the woman you are, I will be extremely proud. There is no one like you and your unique, loving heart does not go unnoticed.
I hope you were able to see how much you mean to me because it's so hard to put into words. I cannot wait for my adventures and experiences with you by my side. I know as long as you are with me then it's going to be a great time. I love you so much - forever and always.
