Dear Friends,
I have no idea where to begin, but I might as well jump in head first and start by saying thank you. I want to thank you for accepting me for who I am. Though I can be a pain in the butt at times, you both are there for me no matter what. I may be annoying when it comes to music, and my dirty laundry all over the place, but we are all still living together and plan to next year, so I guess you still tolerate me. Since move-in day, we have been inseparable. From bingo the first night, to now being roommates, I don't know how I could've survived my first year away from home without you.
Thank you for being you. You both are different in your own ways, but I wouldn't trade you guys for anything. Even though our personalities may clash at times, and yes I can get a tad whiny, we always seem to laugh it off and go back to whatever chaos we are causing. You're now both a big part of my life, and between the three of us, I think we can now call each other family.
Thank you for giving me a shoulder to cry on. Whether it's a breakup or a riding lesson that didn't go our way, you're both always there to lend a shoulder, and I will always do the same. We all handle things differently, and we all are awkward when the other is crying, but somehow we all seem to be there for each other whenever one of us needs it. You are both my rocks, and I will always be there for you in return.
Thank you for the memories and shenanigans we cause. I didn't think I would be having so much fun living with two other people in a small room, between Nerf gun wars to dance parties, we are always making memories. Though we are almost done with our first year, there are many more memories to make while we are here.
Thank you for sharing your stuff. Yes, I do have my own closet with perfectly fine clothes, I will always venture to yours. Yes, I know I am a lot smaller than both of you and cannot share my clothes in return, just know I'm very thankful for your nice sense of style. If you look in half of the pictures we all have with each other, I guarantee it's not my shirt I am wearing.
I'll always be here when you need help on homework, picking out an outfit, or just need someone to talk to. We each have a different relationship with one another, but the relationship we have together is something that I will cherish forever. Though my time here is shorter than both of yours, our bond will never be broken. Connecticut is a bit farther then New York, but you can bet I'll be visiting, so we can cause more trouble and make more memories.
With lots of love,
Al
