Dear Dad,
Ever since I was a little girl, I looked up to you. I've always been a daddy's girl. Since I can remember you've always shown all the women in your life, myself included, an immense amount of respect and unconditional love and I will forever admire you and thank you for that.
You are so loved and so respected by everyone you know, and that says a lot about a person. You are the prime example of a hardworking father and a family man. You are the foundation of our family. You work so hard for not only your money that you bring home to your family but you also work so hard at being an amazing dad and husband. You give until you have nothing left to give and then try to give some more. You are the most selfless and humble person I know.
I truthfully could not ask for a better role model or father. You have always been the angel on my shoulder guiding me on the right path in life. You have always given me the best advice and always know what I need and want before I do. You have always been my biggest fan in everything I do and have always pushed me to do my best. I now understand that all the times you were hard on me about life decisions and school that you were only trying to make me work harder. Your high expectations and constant encouragement throughout college have only made me want to better myself and live up to my full potential even more and I'm forever thankful for that.
I envy your knowledge and your compassion for the people you love. Your humor and ability to always make me laugh on any given day is a trait I hope you never lose. The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I am to have always had such a strong relationship with you. The more people I meet, the more people I know that don't have fathers. And that breaks my heart. I couldn't imagine a life without you. I am so blessed to have had such an amazing father to grow up with
Thank you for always making me laugh and making every day fun. Thank you for always being my friend and my shoulder to cry on. Thank you for instilling your wisdom and beliefs in me. Thank you for always being optimistic and for being the calm in a storm. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting me in everything I do. Thank you for always being by my side and encouraging me to always do my best and to be a better person. Thank you for always giving me the freedom to make my own choices but guiding me through them the whole way. Thank you for always protecting me and standing up for me. Thank you for endless and constant love and support.
But most importantly, thank you for being my hero since I was a little girl and for being the only man I will ever need. Although I will find my Prince Charming one day, you will always be my King.
