Dear Roommates,
I know you've only been in my life for a short period of time, but at this point, we're basically like a family. Between getting ready for nights out and talking about the questionable decisions we made the next day, I couldn't imagine life without you guys.
Thank you for always sharing your clothes, making sure I get home safely, and listening to me vent about my issues with boys and school, even when I've said the same thing 50 times in a row.
Thank you for letting me sleep in your bed on nights that I'm upset, and never judging me for the amount of laundry that piles up on the floor, on any given weekday.
Thank you for telling me when my outfit sucks or letting me know when my bronzer is a little too aggressive, and usually fixing it with one of your many innovative suggestions. ("You can use my concealer as foundation!")
Thank you for always trying to cheer me up when I'm sad, whether it be with Starbucks or pictures of puppies from Instagram.
Thank you for letting me take 57 group photos until I finally look acceptable in one.
Thank you for dealing with my dirty dishes and the blonde hair that I shed all over the dorm.
Thank you for allowing me to get emotionally involved in your personal lives and trusting me to talk to about your problems.
Thank you for making both every trip out of the room and every night in a new adventure.
Thank you for putting up with my hormonal mood swings and periodic whining.
Thank you for always wishing me good luck before a test or presentation.
Thank you for helping me stalk people when I'm feeling nosy.
Thank you for memorizing my Starbucks and takeout orders and surprising me with the occasional treat.
Thank you for knowing my insecurities and never making fun of them.
Thank you for walking to the dining hall with me, when I don't want to make the trip alone.
Thank you for letting me press snooze at least three times before waking up for my 8 A.M.
Thank you for trying your best to accommodate my skewed schedule of late nights and afternoon naps.
Thank you for binge - watching TV shows with me and becoming too involved in the characters' lives.
Thank you for simultaneously breaking down with me during finals week and celebrating with me when it was over.
But, most of all, thank - you for the inside jokes and unforgettable experiences that have made college feel like home.
