Thank You for Everything.
Thank you for not only being my boyfriend, but also my best friend.
When I’m with you, I know I can be the weirdest form of myself and know there will be zero judgments towards my weird questions and ideas. Like if a squirrel and chipmunk had a baby what would it be called? (I mean really is it a chipmurrel or a squirrmunk?) Thank you for always knowing how to cheer me up when I’m crying. Thank you for always making me laugh with your stupid jokes that perfectly fit my humor.
Thank you for always paying for my food.
Since we live in dorms and can’t make homemade meals, and macaroni and cheese is great and all but after a while I can’t taste it anymore. Thank you for buying me take out. Thank you for always buying pizza, Taco Bell, Chipotle and McDonald’s for me all the time when I offer to do your laundry in exchange. But sadly then fall asleep and you end up doing most of the work (and I’m so so sorry I do that, I am just a sleepy person).
Thank you for always being there for me.
Even when I’m crying over a stupid paper due the next day I didn’t start until the day before, you’re always there for me. You always tell me that it will be okay and help me focus on getting it done and helping me be free from distractions.
Thank you for letting me come over, every day.
I know you want your alone time to play video games without me staring at you, or just alone time in general because I do get annoying sometimes. But thank you for always letting me come over and hangout with you, even if it’s just me coming over to sleep in your bed while you do homework and play video games with you. Just being in your presence makes me happy.
Thank you for getting along with my family and letting me be part of yours.
So many girl's boyfriends don’t socialize with their family, let alone basically become part of the family. Thank you for being friends with my older brother, being comfortable enough to joke around with my parents and always going to my family holiday parties with me.
And thank you for inviting me to all of your family events. Thank you for introducing me to all of your family. And thank you to your family making me feel like I’m part of the family.
Thank you for keeping me focused.
In high school I never had good grades until I met you. You made me aspire to try so much harder in school and successfully so. I now have the highest GPA I've had since middle school, and I have so much more drive into putting effort into my school work. Thank you for not being into partying and keeping my head straight my first year of college.
And thank you in general for being the best boyfriend and person in my life. I’ll never be able to thank you enough.
