It's been a while since we've talked. It seems like you're doing well (from what I see on social media). You look happy and it seems like college is treating you well. Just know that even though we don't speak or see each other every day you will always have a special place in my heart.

We were there for each other through all of the firsts. Our first day of high school, our first failed exam, our first loves, and of course our first heart breaks. We hold these memories within us forever. Your secrets were mine and mine, yours. Every aspect of our lives were shared and there was nobody else I could have imagined going through those pivotal four years with. The lasts came at us faster than we could have anticipated. Our last football and basketball games, last homecomings and proms, and of course our last day in that big school we will always remember.

Things have changed a lot over the course of the last ten months. We have graduated, gone to each other's graduation parties, moved on to the colleges we will call home for the next four years, and met plenty of new people who are bound to define the next phase of our lives.

Just don't forget everything we have been through, everything that has made us who we are. Don't forget that I will always be there for you, regardless of how long it has been since we last spoke. Don't forget that you are kind, and smart, and worthy of the greatest things in life, no matter what others may say. Remember that you are always going to be loved and have a place in my heart through everything.
