This one really gets me.

I just wanna believe that you’re okay

That you mean those things you say

But as of late it’s getting rather hard

You aren’t really grasping all you do

Even with all that you’ve been through

I can tell you’re still pretty scarred

From staying out so late in an unfamiliar place,

Yet it’s close enough one of us can take you home

These actions are really a disgrace

To who you are, although you still roam

No one can truly save you from yourself

Except for you, you’re the only one with the power.

But do you want to, or are you happy, pissing it all away?

We don’t want you to go astray

All we want is for you to stay

Alive and well, and the man that you were raised to be

With the absence of all this damn stupidity

I’m now slowly growing afraid of you

And all the things that you may do

You’re a danger to yourself and others

Have a care for all your “sisters” and “brothers”

Before it’s too late and it all disappears

Including the life you’ve developed for years

God damn, how is this happening?

I thought I knew you better

I thought that you knew better

Hell, you know better!

This isn’t you, or who you are.

You’ve come way too far

To throw it all away

So young and yet I pray

That you stay.
