Ambient-Mixer, The Best Way To Accomplish Anything

In college, you have a lot of noise to combat. Whether you’re trying to study, do homework, or sleep, there is usually a lot of noise. Noise coming from your neighbors, people walking outside your res hall, people talking, music, and many more distracting sounds. However, I recently found one of the greatest things to help me complete my work. It has also helped me to fall asleep or relax, whether I have had an anxiety attack or not. It’s called Ambient-Mixer.com.

This website has hundreds of different ambient sounds. You can even make your own ambient sounds and tracks when you sign up for a free account. Even without a free account, you can access the hundreds of ambient sounds. Now, my favorite place to find the ambient sounds I am going to listen to while I do homework is under the “movie” section.

Since I am a nerd, I was ecstatic when I found that they have ambient sounds from Harry Potter, Sherlock, Supernatural, and other fandoms. Personally, I love the Harry Potter and Sherlock ambient sounds the most. I prefer the Slytherin Common Room that has a dank sound. You can also adjust the sounds you want to hear once you choose your ambient sound. When I listen to the Slytherin Common Room, I prefer to have the metallic footsteps happen once every ten minutes rather than once a minute.

There’s also the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff Common Rooms to choose from. Other choices include the Hogwarts Library, Storm on the Hogwarts Express, The Great Hall, Riding with the Winchesters, In Rivendell, Tom Bombadil’s house, Loki’s Chambers, and Sherlock’s Apartment are all a sample of the selections to choose from.

Having ambient sound to listen to while completing homework or studying really helps me. I know tuning out people talking and other sounds while trying to concentrate can be difficult. But Ambient-Mixer.com is a portable white sound machine that can transport you to different realms.

Personally, I find the Storm on the Hogwarts Express to be the best. It feels as though I am on the Hogwarts Express trying to finish an assignment before I get to Hogwarts. It is also really good at keeping out other sounds but is still relaxing to listen to.

Go forth and study, relax, or fall asleep at Hogwarts, or Sherlock’s apartment, or Rivendell or wherever your heart desires!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
