Arguably the best television show of our generation, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will never get old. The unbelievable selfishness and shallow behavior of a group of adults will never not be funny. "It's Always Sunny" is one of my go-to shows when I am avoiding my responsibilities, but I am always faced with the difficult decision of which episode I want to watch. They are all so good that I often end up actually doing my homework instead of watching TV simply because I cannot pick an episode. So for all those "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" fans out there, here is a list of my personal top 10 episodes in ascending order.
10 . “Underage Drinking: A National Concern” Season 1, Episode 3
An oldie, but a goodie. Why four 30-year-olds want to go to a high school prom is beyond me, but this episode is definitely an all time fave!
9. "The Gang Dances Their Asses Off" Season 3, Episode 15
Charlie’s illiteracy gets the gang into a pickle, and they must win a dance contest or lose Paddy’s.
8. "The Gang Gets Invincible" Season 3, Episode 2
Frank trips acid, Charlie puts on a green-man suit, and the McPoyle’s whole family shows up... need I say more?
7. “The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention” Season 5, Episode 4
Frank goes to the funeral of his dead wife's sister's husband, so that he can "bang" his dead wife's sister. He also drinks wine out of a soda can and we meet Gail the snail.
6. "Hundred Dollar Baby" Season 2, Episode 5
Dee is not so underratedly one of the funniest characters on the show. The way the guys are always so mean to her is hysterical.
5. "Mac and Dennis: Manhunters" Season 4, Episode 1
While Mac and Dennis hunt crickets, Charlie and Dee are led to believe that they are addicted to eating humans. One of the funniest episodes of all time!
4. "Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person" Season 3, Episode 9
Every aspect of this episode is amazing, but most importantly, the song "Dayman" is from this episode. Not gonna lie, my friends and I drove to our senior year of high school every morning blasting that song in the car.
3. "The Gang Gets Analyzed" Season 8, Episode 5
The gang literally has to see a psychiatrist to decide who has to do the dishes.
2. "A Very Sunny Christmas" Season 6, Episode 13/14
Definitely not a warm and fuzzy holiday special to watch with the family, but watching Frank's naked body crawl out of a couch gets me every time.
1. "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" Season 6, Episode 7
This episode is my all-time favorite, because it captures everything great about the show in just one episode. It has Charlie's obsession with the waitress, Frank being beyond weird in his man-spider suit, the McPoyle's and Dee slowly turning into an ostrich throughout the episode.
