Although it may be a sad song to hear, I actually find myself feeling encouraged instead of being upset.

I have heard this song, "All This Time" by Tiffany once in a few years ago. Then, I have decided to hear it again when it was recommended for me to hear on YouTube. After hearing it again, I have asked myself why I didn't get into this song before. Here are three reasons why one should hear the '80s song, "All This Time" by Tiffany.

1. This is a great song by Tiffany to start with

I never have heard of the singer Tiffany before until my mother mentioned her and this song. Then, after hearing her lovely voice in this song, I really am glad that there is a song like this and with her as the singer. Her voice captures that questioning of moving on and the feeling of missing the things from the past.

2. It has striking lyrics

When I read the lyrics from this song more closely, the lyrics become most of the reason why I like to hear this song. Lots of things are being described and happening in this song. I adore the description lyrics in the song such as "hearts are good for souvenirs." Moreover, the parallelism between the lyrics "the sun still shines, the sun still sets" connects to "and the heart forgives, the heart forgets." This is very metaphoric of the moving on phase. Both the "time" and "heart" move on. Finally, when she sings, "But what will I do now with all this time," it brings out that rhetorical question and it makes it hard for us listeners to answer to her after hearing her feelings throughout the song. These are the lyrics that are very striking to me when hearing this song.

3. It's a perfect song to listen to for positive encouragement

Although it may be a sad song to hear, I actually find myself feeling encouraged instead of being upset. Not on love, but when going through the struggles of life, I think that there is saying that there is no time to think about the past and move forward which is demonstrated with the paced motion of Tiffany's singing and her lyrics about "the sun" and "the heart." One should move forward with life and not dwell on the past and be happy. One should also cherish the present and go with the flow to the future because the future is unpredictable which relates back to the question lyric from this song, "But what will I do now with all this time?" For me, being left "with all this time," I get to reflect on my dreams and the accomplishments I want to achieve and start to work hard for my dreams, which makes it worth "all this time" for me and this is an answer that I would give out to this question lyric.

This is a nice song from the 80s that one should hear as well!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
