Thank you for wanting to grow old with me.

Do you believe in soulmates? Love at first sight? I do. We will all find our soulmates one day and maybe some of us already have. One of the reasons we were put here on this earth is to love. And I believe that wholeheartedly. I hope one day I am lucky enough to marry my best friend who I am so in love with.

So I would like to tell my future husband a few things...

Future Husband,

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for picking me to be the "one" for you. Thank you for your unconditional love. I know I can be a bit "bratty", some what "out of control," weird, crazy, attitude-y but you still love me anyways for who I am. I will always love you. There won't be a day when I don't. I couldn't ever imagine myself being without you or living a life without you in it. I guess that's why they say "til death parts us," right? You are the other half of me; you have my whole heart and I never want it back. It is yours and it will be yours forever.

You are a prize winner, once in a blue moon kind of guy, all around amazing and extraordinary and I can't wait to grow up and grow old with you. I promise to always be there for you when life gets tough, I promise to always hold your hand while sitting in public, I promise to always be your shoulder to cry on and to always be your best friend.

I can't wait to have nights where we will laugh uncontrollably to the point where we have tears rolling down our faces, over something so ridiculous. I can't wait to cry with you, to laugh with you, to enjoy this ride of life with you.

I've prayed and prayed to God to let me find a man like you to love me for who I am. And I am so extremely blessed that he gave me you to go on this journey together called "life." What did I do to deserve a love like this that will last forever? I can't wait for the day we say our vows under God and to give God the Glory for he has blessed us with each other.

I promise I will never let us go to bed angry, no matter how bad our fight is. I am sure we will have plenty of those but I know it will be only because we both care too much. Our time together will be valuable, so I promise I will make every second of every minute of every hour, count. I honestly believe that we should not waste time that we have together because we never know when it will be our last.

I promise I will always stay faithful to you. I will never hurt you. You are the only one that I want and I find cheating or remotely hurting you as a sin. You mean more than life to me and I could never hurt someone that I love so deeply. I promise with all of my heart I will stay truthful and faithful to you til the day that I die.

With you being my husband, I know I will be a hand full. I know that I will over exaggerate all the time, I know I will worry too much and worry for your sake. Please forgive me ahead of time, I only do so because I love and care for you more than anything. I hope you know that I would and will do anything for you. I would move mountains for you if I could.

You'll learn my pet peeves and how I love to sing when I clean the house. I hope you'd chime in on the singing and cleaning too. I cry a lot, like a lot. I am very emotional when it comes to sad television shows and movies. I will cry over just about anything when it comes to that. You'll also learn that everything I do or you do, I want to do together. When we have children one day, I know that things will change in our relationship. Our alone time together may be limited but don't think that I don't care or love you less.

Future Husband, I will be more than a hand full, and I hope you're ready for me and my over flowing, unconditional love that I will have for you. God placed each other in our lives and I can't wait to see what our journey together will be that God has set for us.

I can't wait to do life with you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
