Airmar is the only station with no moving parts, and integrated sensors with GPS, which provides direction and real and apparent wind speed, barometric pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and wind chill. Airmar station is wired and comes with WeatherCaster software, which allows data visualization and storage. The station does not have a display (console) and therefore needs a computer for viewing.

Airmar has developed and operates an automatic complex for collecting meteorological information (hereinafter Airmar).
Airmar is intended for automatic (i.e. without involving the ship's personnel) collection of the meteorological situation in the area of navigation of the ship, according to the instructions (guides) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Roshydromet and data transmission via the Inmarsat IsatData Pro satellite network. The subscriber device is based on the SkyWave IDP-690 satellite communication station and AIRMAR PB-200 automatic weather station.
