After the first month the sparkly new feeling wears off, and the feeling of debt and migraines hit like a ton of bricks. You're probably sick, you miss your parents -- even if you live at home -- and you forgot what it's like to breathe without feeling guilty for not doing your homework in that moment. Your dog has no idea who you are anymore, and coffee doesn't work anymore. Your world is just starting to crumble. If you're lucky enough to be the complete opposite, then God bless you.
After the first month of college...
1. You can wear your PJ's that you just rolled out of bed with and no one will judge you, and if they do, you are just too tired to care at this point.
2. You are not even ready for 11am classes, let alone an 8am.
3. You figure out how to take notes in really, really short hand. But you still don't understand what is even going on.
4. You forget to go to the bathroom, then you wonder why your kidneys hurt.
5. You meet some really cool people. They are probably kind of weird, but they are awesome and totally have your back for notes.
6. You live on a really healthy diet... not.
7. You are becoming the master of procrastination.
8. You literally want to skip every single class and none of your friends will try to talk you out of it because they are probably thinking the same thing.
9. You forgot what sleep is.
10. You are BROKE.
But even after a month, you realize it is still better than high school...
Good luck my college friends...
