Adult life is a boring one. How can one change their routine when it has become so comfortable? Work is boring but you do it to pay the bills. Same thing different day. A routine that has become nuisance.

It's especially hard when all your friends are hundreds of miles away. It's time to make a change we often say. But will you do it? Will I do it? Something drastic must happen, and what I want will be really hard to get by. Will it be practical? Probably not.

I could always quit my job. Maybe I could work 3 part time jobs and go back, get some spontaneity...but, oh, wait, that was what I did when I didn't have a rent payment or utility bill due every month. That wouldn't be a very good change, but any change is hard really.

No one likes change. It's always hard to adjust. Plus it's a decision that doesn't only affect you. It affects the person you’re spending your life with also. Can they handle the decision? Do they approve? Will they back you up? There's so much to think and worry about once you become an adult. It seemed so clear what I wanted to do when I was younger. Many people have put their life on hold for the person they love and have sacrificed so much to follow their hopeless romantic feelings. Have they become the person who is holding you back?

No longer can you think about just yourself. It has become an “us or a we.” Single life is completely over. Not saying that this is such a bad thing. You love your partner to death, being without them would be much worse than where you are at right now at the moment. But something has to give. A decision has to be made.

You have to look at deadlines and figure out what is the best decision for you. No longer do you come first in your own life. “We” is the sole number one thing to come first. That is what he thinks after all. Happy wife, happy life. In this case it is happy husband. How hard I have worked to achieve my goals has seemed to come to a complete firm halt.

I don’t understand how adults are okay with their lives to be honest. Waking up every morning to do the same thing, at the same job every day. Gosh, it is nauseating I swear. Boring.

How can one make their adult life more fun? Especially in a small town such as this one, where you know not many people at all. You don't want to spend much money, but you want to get involved. Well, one solution could be to sign up for volunteer events, and I just found a great website to help you out: VolunteerSpot. It allows you to go in and search local volunteer opportunities in your neighborhood.

Meanwhile, waiting on the next audition at FLT, I have to keep myself sane! I take martial arts twice a week, but it’s because it’s free because my fiancé teaches the class. Monday nights are line dancing, but I haven’t been able to get myself there yet because of different things happening that night. Now I just need to find something to do on the weekends besides just hang out with my fur babies and clean the house.

I have a lot of ideas on how to make my life more “fun” and productive, but I now know what I have to do in order to get back on track with my career goal.

Take charge! Make a change, Fight for yourself! And take a listen to some inspirational music while you're at at!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
