What is abortion, some may ask? Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.
A controversial topic that many think should be legal or illegal, the killing of a baby that was never born and the taking of a baby's life which is cruel. It is a way to get out of a situation like, having a pregnancy at the age of 16 or not being able to pay that amount of money for child support. Some options outweigh the costs of having an abortion because some people may give their parents the baby when it is born or trying to make enough money for child support. Abortion could be a problem because one's life is taken away that could've been flourished and it is still the killing of a human being, whether physically seen or from a machine. After the 1st trimester killing the baby would result in jail time because of what the law abides across the U.S. Pregnancy is a huge burden and a big responsibility with taking care of your body for about 9 months until that newborn is born, but ending a life of a baby because of your conflicting situations is just plain foolish and nauseating. I cannot even imagine the wife of my child thinking of abortion because of poverty or poor nutrition available to us because I know in my eyes there are other ways to escape such a situation. It won't be an easy task, but killing someone is just plain wrong and deceiving.
In my eyes, abortion should be illegal, and should not be a way of escaping all your problems. Guilt is what happens when that person has done something wrong and knows it, but tries to hide the harsh details. A woman can distinguish the feeling of pregnancy from a man of course because men don't ever get pregnant, but these women are affected deeply. Women who have an abortion may suffer from depression and organ failure, resulting in organ and tissue damage if the procedure is done late into the pregnancy. A life lost to decisions that a parent won't forget and feel the guilt behind that decision for the rest of her life. Sometimes the easy way out may be abortion, but in reality, a heavy burden is placed on your heart, as you say to yourself "What if I could've raised that baby right and not done what I've done?" Questioning yourself becomes a necessity and others around you may bash on your decision that led to the killing of your baby. Abortion is ignorant and deceitful in my eyes and with others. Decisions aren't always easily made, but any decision can change a life.
