As Gilmore Girls is returning for a 4-episode revival on November 25th, many cannot stop talking about our favorite girls, Rory and Lorelai. Many of us grew up on these two ladies, or later binge-watched the entire show without any regret. But the sole reason that Gilmore Girls gained such a cult following was because each and everyone of us could relate to the characters on the show. Each and every one of us felt like a Gilmore Girl. Each and every one of us is a Gilmore Girl, and here is why.
We’ve all been a little too caffeinated in our life.
We’ve all dreaded going to a family dinner.
We’ve all fallen in love with the wrong guy.
We’ve all binge-watched movies until they all blend together.
We’ve all had a poor diet out of desperation.
We've all had days where social interaction just is not our thing.
We’ve all lived years without really living.
And we’ve all decided to finally start living.
We’ve all had friends come from our enemies.
And we've all had friends who have been there the whole time.
We’ve all made decisions our parents do not support.
But at the end of the day, we've all needed our parents more than anything.
But most of all, we are all imperfectly perfect.
All of us are Gilmore Girls, in some way, shape, or form. So go one, keep Gilmoring.
