The ABC's To 'Bad Girls Club'

Bad Girls Club has been on television for a decade now, and they just finished up their 15th season. Considering it is one of my favorite reality TV programs I thought it would only be fitting to do the 'ABC's' of the show which is an idea I got from a fellow Odyssey writer. In the 'ABC's' you will find some of the baddest bad girls and some of the things that have happened in the past ten years.

A: Amber

Amber is one of the original Bad Girls. We all first saw Amber on season 3, and she has reoccurred on the spin offs 'Love Games' and 'The All-Star Battle'. Amber is most remembered for the 'Amber Show' and her feisty attitude.

B: Blu

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Blu was without a doubt a fan favorite in her season of Bad Girls Club! She was one of the originals in the season 12 cast who defied the odds and made it all the way to the end.

C: Char

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Char made her impact on the 6th season of Bad Girls Club. She called herself the "C.E.B." aka The Chief Executive Bitch and I think it is pretty clear why.

D: Diamond

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Diamond was just recently on the "Twisted Sisters" season of BGC. She came into the house with alleged sister Olivia who to everyone's surprise was actually her ex. As a result of lying to producers, both Olivia and Diamond were kicked out of the Bad Girls House.

E: Erika

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Erika 'Pretty Girl Bounded' her way right into the season 9 cast of Bad Girls Club. She definitely was not afraid to attack others with both her witty comebacks and fists when needed. Erika was also featured on 'The All-Star Battle'.

F: Flo

Florina aka 'Flo' is without a doubt one of the toughest bad girls to ever step inside a BGC house. Flo was casted first in the 4th season, and has also been featured on 'The All-Star Battle'. In 2011, Flo had her own special spin off that focused on her pregnancy and marriage.

G: Gia

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Gia Hernandez also known as the 'Scandalous School Girl' was one of the original houseguests featured in season 8.

H: Hanan & SuSu

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Hanan & SuSu were the last pair of replacement to enter the cast of season 15. These two sisters entered the house fighting and left the house fighting. It was safe to say they left with a bang.

I: "I Don't Understand"

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Erika's "I Don't Understand" speech to Rima along with the 'Pretty Girl Bounce' has to be one of the best BGC moments ever!

J: Judi

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Judi Jai aka "The Voodoo Vixen" is my all time favorite bad ever! Judi first took the BGC world by storm in season 7. Since then Judi has been on 'Love Games', 'The All-Star Battle', and 'BGC Redemption'. Judi is most definitely known for her love of Voodoo and serving Priscilla with Breakfast in Bed. With Judi, you never know what she is about to do.

K: Kristina & Angela

Kristina & Angela were another pair of sisters on season 15 of BGC. These two were definitely not shy of controversy, and were constantly in disputes with the replacements of the house! Out of all of the sisters, Kristina & Angelia improved their relationship the most between one another.

L: Loren

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Loren also known as Lo was one of the original housemates of season 12. Loren was definitely not afraid to keep it 100 and from time to time giving a country ass whooping. Her alliance of the fabulous four, for sure filled the house with a bunch of laughs and entertainment.

M: Mehgan

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Mehgan was first seen on season 9 of Bad Girls Club and while being on the show she has made quite a name for herself. The proclaimed stepdaughter of President Obama is most definitely a fan favorite leading to her being part of 'The All-Star Battle' twice!

N: Natalie Nunn

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]If you are a Bad Girls Club fan you know who Natalie Nunn is. Natalie is simply either your all time favorite or the girl you just love to hate. Natalie took the BGC world by storm during season 4, and she has constantly made a mark since. Not only did proclaimed that she ran L.A., but she also ran the show. Since season 4 Nunn has been featured on 'Love Games', 'All-Star Battle', and 'BGC Redemption'. Not only has she found success in the Bad Girls Club realm, but Natalie has also been featured on several different other reality TV shows.

O: Oxygen

The TV channel Oxygen has now hosted several seasons of Bad Girls Club and is almost ready to release season 16 in September of this year!

P: Priscilla

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Priscilla was one of the original houseguests in season 7 of Bad Girls Club! Priscilla was definitely the firecracker out of the bunch. She in my eyes is most remembered for getting served "Breakfast in Bed" by fellow housemate Judi. Afterwards, lets just say Judi received one of the worst beat-downs in BGC history!

Q: Queens, New York

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Queens, New York is the home to two fellow Bad Girls. Jada is the first to hail from Queens. Jada was featured in season12, and on 'BGC Redemption'. The second Bad Girl to call Queens home is Tina who was a cast member who went home pretty early in season 14.

R: Rocky

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Raquel aka "Rocky" also is a huge fan favorite in Bad Girls Club. Rocky first entered BGC as a replacement in season 10. Since then Rocky has been featured in both 'All-Star Battles' and on 'BGC Redemption'. This Bad Girl has beauty, brains and brawn which makes her the ultimate cast member.

S: Sarah

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Sarah first introduced herself to the Bad Girls Fandom in season 11. Unfortunately, Sarah was not liked very well by her fellow housemates, which led to her constantly fighting. As a result of the altercations she was kicked out of the house. Luckily for her fans Sarah re-appeared in 'All-Star Battle' and 'BGC Redemption'!

T: Tanisha Thomas

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Tanisha Thomas is without a doubt the 'Godmother' of Bad Girls Club. By far one of the most popular Bad Girls to ever grace our television screens! The moment captured above in the gif is definitely one of the most iconic moments to ever go down in the Bad Girls house. Tanisha was one of the houseguests to be featured in the 2nd season of BGC. It was impossible for the produces not to bring her back. Since then she has been featured on 'Love Games' and had her own special, 'Tanisha Gets Married'. Tanisha Thomas has also been the reunion host for several of the most recent seasons!

U: "I Got The Voodoo For U"

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]"I Got The Voodoo For U" was the name of the first episode of season 7 of Bad Girls Club. This popular saying was brought to you by your favorite 'Voodoo Vixen', Judi Jai!

V: The Victor Twins

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Danni and Gabbi were the first set of twins to ever be featured on Bad Girls Club. These spunky sisters were first introduced in season 8. Both sisters have been featured on 'All-Star Battle'. Since then Gabbi has started a family and Danni has further been seen on 'Love Games' and 'BGC Redemption'. It is quite clear that there will never be a set of twins as quite controversial and manipulating as The Victor Twins.

W: Whitney

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Whitney Collings was one of the original houseguests during season 3 of Bad Girls Club. It is clear to see that she was not afraid to speak her mind!

X: X-Houseguests

From the past 15 seasons of Bad Girls Club there have been about 150 different Bad Girls!

Y: [rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]

Z: Zara

[rebelmouse-proxy-image crop_info="%7B%22image%22%3A%20%22https%3A//" expand=1]Zara was one of the original Bad Girls featured in the first ever season of BGC! Zara was not only featured in her season but she was also on 'Bad Girls Road Trip' where her and some other housemates from season 1 traveled to help choose the cast for season 2!

Black Friday is back to being Black Friday

This year, malls are standing up against Black Friday beginning on Thanksgiving. Doors won't be opening until Friday morning.

Last week my twitter feed was full of exclamations of how excited people were that our local mall, Westmoreland Mall would be closed on Thanksgiving Day this year. For those who work during the busy holiday days and hours, a celebration was in order. For the die-hard deal finders and shoppers though, they didn’t seem very happy.

Is Thrift Shopping *Actually* Ethical?

There's been a recent boom in the popularity of vintage style looks and up-cycling thrifted finds to sell at, usually, an outrageous price. Is this ethical? Or does it defeat the whole purpose of thrifting in the first place?

Is Thrift Shopping *Actually* Ethical?

One day, I was scrolling through Twitter and came across a tweet about upper-middle-class class people thrift shopping. I personally was against the up cycling/re-selling trend because I thought it to be greedy. Then, I began to see more and more tweets, and then stated to see ones about those who buy thrifted, name brand items and sell them for what they're actually worth instead of the very low price they got them for.

Holidays With the Family?

Should retail outlets close on holidays so their employees can be with their families?

For the past few years, having stores open on Thanksgiving has become a popular trend. The sales have started earlier on the day known as Gray Thursday. Now, the Mall of America has taken a bold stand and is closing its doors on Thanksgiving. They are very excited in giving the day back to their workers so they can spend time with their family.

Black Friday: Explained

Time to question this unofficial corporate holiday.

Flickr/John Henderson

On a personal level, Black Friday has always confused me. Everyone just ate a ton and spent all day with their families—why would we want to go out and vigorously shop, fighting crowds? I totally see why other people want to go do it, but I’ve never quite understood the concept myself. While I’ve been Black Friday shopping once or twice, I don’t get that excited about it unless it’s an opportunity to spend time with family or friends. Don’t get me wrong; I am the queen of bargains. Still, I never seem to have the energy to go out into the jungle of shoppers early the day after Thanksgiving, or even immediately after Thanksgiving dinner. Many people, though—including my loved ones—are enthusiastic about Black Friday shopping, and it seems most other Americans are the same way. So, it’s worth looking at the reasons for this commercially-driven, unofficial American holiday.

#OptOutside This Black Friday

I am opting to go outside this Black Friday, and I hope you do so as well.

Ross Woodhall

The day after Thanksgiving has always been regarded by many as the beginning of the Christmas season. While not a federal holiday, many people take off work, spend time at home with their families, and enjoy the beginning of the holiday season. This Friday off turned into a prime opportunity to begin the never-ending chore of Christmas shopping. Soon it became one of the busiest shopping days a year, which companies capitalized on by bringing the best deals of the year to this day we know as Black Friday.
