I remember when you were little and you would hit your head on the sidewalk from falling off your bike. You would cry and cry for hours, but would not tell anybody what was wrong. You would just tell them you were going to be fine and not to worry about it. You're so quiet when it comes to problems and that you shut the world out. You shut everyone out since day one. Your mom is begging you to speak but no words come out. All you do is sit quietly in the chair at home and let music consume you as your voice.

Have you noticed that you have changed? You have. You have improved. I am glad that you did. This change is beautiful. Keep it going throughout your life. I hope you are more confident to stand up and rise up to challenges. You are so strong my dear. You have been through a lot and come out on the winning end. The world has tried to break you, but you never let it.

Thank your past, for it has made you into a better person today. All those people that walked all over you and treated you like garbage, they wanted to keep you at their low level. They didn't want you to grow or expand or be awesome. They wanted to keep you sad, little, worthless and afraid. You're not there anymore and you're not that person anymore.

I am so very proud of you and all of the changes that you have undergone. Now you no longer have a reason to look back, look back at old friends who are no longer here, old memories that make you miss certain parts of the past.

Just look at your life now and all of its progress. People come into your life for a reason, and teach you what you need to know.

Don't take everything so personally and try to not let others get you down. Most of the time, things have nothing to do with you, and everything to do with the other person. When people hurt you, try and understand their side of the story. Forgive them. Learn from their wrongdoings, and then let it remain in the past. Do not waste your time on people who do not believe in you. You don't need anyone like that in your life. Only surround yourself with people who encourage and inspire you. Because not everyone you have meet is meant to stay around forever. People will leave you. On the contrary, you will also leave others. People will disappoint you, and all you can do is learn to appreciate them for what they have taught you. Thank the people who have stayed. Fill the spaces of the ones who have gone.

You have finally learned what true friends are, and who is true to you. Hold on to these people forever, because they are the ones that will walk through the fire with you.

You are good enough. You are smart enough. You are beautiful enough. You are special and amazing enough. Love who you are. Love your journey. Love the beautiful soul you are. Be happy. There are so many things to be thankful for. Ask when you need help, No one can read your mind. Be strong and know that you are in God's hands. Everything will work out. It may not be today or tomorrow, but eventually the pieces will fall into place and you will understand why the battle was worth it.

Thank God for everything that you are fortuned with, take a look at all the beautiful things around you, and be stress free for just a moment.

There is so much more knowledge to be known. There is more love to be taken and given. And there are more obstacles to overcome. Keep chasing your future self. Keep setting goals and achieve each of them one by one.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
