A Letter To My College People

Taylor and Gabby,

It's crazy how when you meet someone you don't know the impact that they will have on you and how much they will grow to mean to you in the future. I could say now that I am so happy that I met the both of you and started to spend time with you guys everyday because the two of you are some of the greatest friends I have had, not just here in college. I know, from hearing it all the time and from meeting you guys, that your college friends are some of the greatest people you will meet and have in your life. How did I get so lucky to have you guys in my life?

I couldn't thank you guys enough for being such amazing friends, I really don't know what I would've done if we all didn't start hanging out together. Thank you for all the movie nights, laughs, jam sessions, breakfast & dinner dates, for all the hugs (even the ones I try to get out of) and for always being down to get icecream with me. I wouldn't want to sing Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers, and the Hairspray soundtrack at the top of my lungs with anyone else. I also couldn't thank you guys enough for making me laugh the hardest and for making me smile the biggest everyday. Thank you also for letting me vent to you guys and for giving me advice even if it is the smallest issue I could have. Thank you for always hyping me up and for making me feel loved all the time. Thank you for being some of the best friends I could have asked for.

Like I have said before, I 100% feel bad for people who are not friends with the both of you, they are truly missing out on some amazing people. I am so happy and thankful I know you guys and I don't think I could stress that enough. The two of you light up any room you go into just by being there. Keep being you guys.

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
