Hey kids have you ever encountered a situation that made someone or yourself feel extremely uncomfortable? Did you feel like you wanted to crawl into a hole while it was happening? Or curse at science for not coming up with an invisibility cloak to hide your shame? I mean come on science, Back to the Future said by 2015 we would have this kind of fun, futuristic stuff! Did you ever wonder, "Has anyone else felt like this?"
If you have contemplated these questions for more than 5 seconds then boy do I have some pants-wetting news for you: this article is chalk full of all things awkward. Let's face, it we have all been there and done that, a.k.a we have all been there and made a fool of ourselves in front of others. Goodness knows I have. I currently hold the world record for most awkward confrontations, 20 years going strong! So sit back, relax, and dive deep into the cesspool of awkwardness.
You encounter the awkward situation and in your mind you are thinking...
You try to avoid eye contact as much as possible by looking around. Literally anywhere.
Unfortunately that doesn't work half of the time and you make eye contact.
You have no clue what to do, so you do the only thing you can do... and sometimes it just DOES NOT WORK OUT and you end up looking stupid.
Or you think it's someone you know annnnnnd it's not.
Like not even close. Now you look like even more of an idiot than before.
Now you feel like crying...
Or crawling into a hole...
Sometimes you encounter someone you do know, a.k.a. with your luck it's your crush, so you decide to smile at them and it ends up looking like this...
Or this...
Or the opposite and you try to act cool and you think you look like this...
Or this...
But in reality you end up looking like this...
Or this...
And now you want to do this...
But in the end when it's all said and done and you have finally reached your destination and now you end up looking like this...
Thanks for reading! Cheers!
