I swear 90s kid shows hit their peak of awesomeness back then and it's just important not to forget about them. I mean the greats like "Spongebob Squarepants," "Hey Arnold!" and "Ahh... Real Monsters" gave me life! Don't get me wrong there are some good kid shows today, but let's take time to reflect on some of the good ones that helped shape me today!
1. "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?"
Just call me the Kid Detective. This show had me investigating all types things in my life after I watched it!
2. "Zoom"
You may remember this show where they had all these activities, tricks, recipes and games in the world you could do! Pull up on the playground the next day with at least three new games for the squad to play after watching an episode of Zoom!
3. "Rugrats"
These babies taught me the value of friendship! Ride or dies! A one, day one! And of course, things to learn when growing up!
4. "Between the Lions"
It was like "Reading Rainbow," but not. "See Jane walk. See Jane run." It taught me the difference between "there," "their" and "they're" at a very early age. Those lions dropped knowledge.
5. "Cyber Chase"
My daily dose of math came from this show after school!
6. "Arthur"
This show provided vital information about the real world! Life was hard for Arthur. He balancing family, school and friends in elementary. Couldn't get through elementary without "Arthur!"
7. "As Told by Ginger"
A preteen going through preteen issues! You can't get enough of these shows and it wasn't overly cheesy! And who can forget the intro song?
8. "Pepper Ann"
She's just too cool for seventh grade! She made only having two close friends and being a nerd cool!
