There's a new style for every family type and every creative present you want to wrap! I'm sure you think your kids don't really care-- I mean they only want to rip them open anyways, but they will look completely beautiful under your tree! Treat your family with a different, new and exciting style of wrapped presents this Christmas with 10 fun options! Start crafting!

1. Colored theme

If you like to stick with traditional wrapping a great way to add some organization to under your tree is with a theme! It's fun to pick colored paper with a color scheme and match it with pretty bows and ribbons to add the extra matching touch! Or you can even give each family member their own colored wrapping paper to separate presents!

2. Picture Name Tags

Tagging presents is such an important part! I mean who wants to open another person's present? But such a fun and personal way to tag presents is by picture! Simply add a picture of you and the person receiving the gift to give it the extra touch and relive fun memories in light of the holiday season!

3. Brown Paper

Another unique style is using brown paper in which you can decide if you want a very simple look with paper and yarn or if you want to go wild and decorate it yourself! This is a great way to use your creative talents to decorate your wrapping paper exactly how you want with paint, stamps and cute tape, or even having your children color on it and make their own designs!

4. Newspaper

A fun and stylish way to wrap presents (and quite cheap!) is to use newspaper! The comics section always makes for a fun looking present and black and white adds a very retro look to a very different type of wrapping!

5. Bags

I mean you can never go wrong with bags but are bags really better than wrapping? That's up to you! Brown paper bags are awesome for gift exchanges- it definitely can help people underestimate your gift but you also can decorate it how ever you want!

6. Black paper

Black paper is fun because you can use white sharpie to add fun designs that are different from the typical wrapping paper! Draw your own tags on the boxes or add some fun drawings to switch up your usual wrapping!

7. Use nature

This may sound far out-- but, pine cones and pine tree branches tied in with tags are always loved! They are elegant and rustic look bringing in a whole new type of style! (P.S. twine and red thin ribbon look wonderful with this!)

8. Word search wrapping paper

This is a fun idea that is not only just for looks but can keep others entertained while they wait weeks and weeks to open their presents! The simplicity of the black and white with the complexity of the letters create a great spread of an awesome wrapping idea!

9. Statues

Okay what? I know crazy right! These parents must have gone overboard but really, three boxes stacked on top of each other was all it took! Have fun with your wrapping and make something big out of it! Make a tree or a snowman and blow your kids away on Christmas morning!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
