Two years into college and I have a rather lengthy list of things that drive me nuts during lectures. However, if I took the time to tell all of them, it would take a while so a list of nine seems more suiting.
Realistically, class lectures are one of the least favorable times of any student's day knowing we could be at the beach or sleeping. Regardless, dealing with difficult people in lecture only make the time drag on a little more than usual.
1. Being oh-so courteous and talking over the teacher and the whole class.
Here's a thought: some of us want to make use of the time and money we are putting into college. If chatting was THAT urgent that it couldn't wait an hour or so then maybe you should have a conversation outside where it can be fully discussed.
2. Whining and sucking your teeth at the professor because he or she tells you to be quiet(or any other form of instruction).
How DARE they do their job; that is just absurd!
3. Playing music loudly during lecture.
Lectures can already be hard to focus on and now I can hear every word that your song is playing! Oh and when you turn to me and ask, "what did she just say"? I will probably look something like:
4. Sprawling out and taking as much room as possible which leaves your neighbor (me) with no room to even breathe let alone take notes.
Call me dramatic but hey I guess I enjoy a little personal space!
5. The student that gets a life high off of arguing with any point that is made
The professor may enjoy the feedback 50% of the time but let the teacher have the floor. Please take debate class though; they will love you there!
6. Flirting during lecture and excessive amounts of PDA
I get that we all want some love and attention but can you two not flirt/kiss/ hold hands while I am within a few feet of you?
7. Storming to the exit like a pack of raging bulls when class is over.
Because waiting an extra minute to behave like civil human beings is just FAR too inconvenient so let's just resort to pushing.

8. Sitting in my UN-Designated seat.
I get it, most college classes do not have assigned seating but there IS INDEED A SYSTEM! If I sit in the same seat everyday and someone takes my seat it will mean war. There is just no other way to handle this. Okay, maybe sitting in a different seat for the day but that is really annoying.
9. That one student that complains about an 89 instead of a 90 while the rest of us are mentally reminding ourselves that "C's get degrees".
No comment needed.
Meanwhile I am playing mental scenarios of throwing a full blown temper tantrum and storming out of the classroom but realistically I will be twitching in my seat for the next hour and a half. Or death staring the person; depends how sassy I am feeling that day.
